We've only got about a month left before Ouya units start landing in the hands of backers and a few months before the full-blown retail launch. A  retail launch that we now learn will include GameStop, Best Buy, Target, Amazon, and an undisclosed number of other sellers. Yes, including brick-and-mortar stores. Things are starting to look pretty good for the little console that could.

Speaking in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Ouya's CEO released a few extra details, including the price: $100 for the console, which we knew. However, controllers will also be available for $50. Note the distinct lack of the word "extra" before "controllers." You see, the touchpad-enabled handheld can be adapted for use on other devices.

If you're going to be getting a phone upgrade in 2013, Best Buy has your number. Or rather, it wants your number. Last year's Phone Freedom promotion is back, and that means you can get a $50 gift card with a new phone purchase just for registering with your email address and phone number before February 9th at 11:59PM.

So here's the deal: hit the Best Buy promo page and sign up with your email and phone number. Once that's done, keep an eye out for the one device that makes your heart sing in 2013 and buy it from Best Buy or Best Buy Mobile (on or after February 10th).

Back in early-to-mid December, Fuhu announced a pair of new tablets: the nabi Jr. for small children, and the nabi XD for tweens. While release details were scant for the nabi Jr., the XD was penciled in for a mid-January release date. That time frame has come and gone, but it looks like both device are now available through BestBuy.com, though it's possibly the company pulled the trigger a little bit early since there's been nary a word from Fuhu since the initial announcement.

As the name suggests, the nabi Jr. is a smaller, more toddler-friendly version of the nabi 2.

Yesterday, Verizon welcomed the bright pink Motorola DROID RAZR M into the fold just in time for V-Day. Sure, it's essentially the same device as the existing RAZR M, but c'mon – it's pink! That's a pretty niche color, so I'm sure there are lots of Android fangirls out there who just can't wait to get their hands on this little guy. And now, they can do just that for free at Best Buy Mobile – a $50 savings over Verizon's in-store price. Considering the pink variant hasn't shown up at Amazon Wireless or Wirefly yet, Best Buy seems to be the only place running the deal so far.

Are you just getting home from work and looking to unwind with some tunes? Maybe you want to rock out to the music on your phone – oh, but that crappy little speaker just won't cut it. The Monster ClarityHD, however, can pump out much more sound, and it's on sale from Best Buy. Yes, you might actually have a reason to buy something from Best Buy.

The Monster ClarityHD connects wirelessly to most Bluetooth 2.0 compatible devices. It packs a rechargable lithium-ion battery for around 5 hours of wireless playback. It also has microphone support so you can take calls hands-free while your device is synced with the Monster ClarityHD.

If the rather binary choices of blue and white for the current model of the T-Mobile's variant of the Samsung Galaxy S III don't appeal, there's another option available. A Titanium Grey color has popped up on Best Buy's website, at the same subsidized price as the other T-Mobile models, currently $179.99 with a two-year contract and a whopping $700 outright. Just be aware that if you actually buy a T-Mobile Galaxy S III at any time in the next month, your future self may come back Biff Tannen-style and smack you for being so shortsighted.

That's because T-Mobile is finally ready to start rolling out its LTE network, like the rest of the major American carriers, with a launch coming as soon as this month.

As always, the closer we get to the holidays, the more deals we see. It's anything but uncommon to see one-day super deals pop up just before Christmas, and today Best Buy is offering the Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon variants of the 16GB Galaxy S III for just $50 and 32GB for $99 (Verizon only) with a two-year agreement. T-Mo customers are stuck paying a bit more, with the 16GB handset coming in at $80 and 32GB variant for $130.

Of course, this deal is for today only, so if a GSIII is on your - or a loved one's - holiday wishlist, head here to take advantage of it.

We've heard quite a bit about the upcoming ZTE Flash on Sprint over the last couple of weeks, but Best Buy just spilled all the details of the upcoming mid-ranger. According to previous leaks - which have now been confirmed by Best Buy - the Flash has a 4.5-inch 1280x720 display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, and Android 4.0. The handset's claim to fame, however, is its 12.6MP rear shooter - a first for a device in this class on Sprint.

This newcomer to Sprint's 4G LTE network was originally rumored to be available beginning today along with the Optimus G, Mach, and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 LTE, although BB has it listed as "out of stock" at the moment.

Update: The promotional code has been taken down - probably because too many people tried to use it. Bummer.

Looking for a new phone that isn't a Nexus 4? Well, you may want to head over to Best Buy Mobile's eBay Store (ugh), because there's actually a pretty awesome promo code you can use to swing a great deal on an on-contract phone.

For any phone with a plan rate greater than $29.99, whether on a new account or as a contract renewal (upgrade), you can get 25% off the cost of the phone - just enter the promo code "EBSAVE25" at checkout.

If you've been on the fence about upgrading to the Galaxy S III from... whatever phone you're running these days, but were waiting for a better price, Best Buy's Deal of the Day could be the one for you. For today only, you can score the GSIII for a mere $99 with free shipping, a price that's good for both new contracts and upgrades. That's the best deal we've seen yet for the latter.

The deal is good for all of the Big Four - AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon - though if you're looking to score one on VZW, you'll have to hunt the device down manually; for some reason, BB decided not to include it in the promotion link.
