Orange and T-Mobile UK, the two companies forming the new 4G EE network in the UK, have launched three 4G capable Android phones today.

That means that if you're an Orange or T-Mobile customer, you can now buy the Samsung Galaxy S III LTE, HTC One XL, or Huawei Ascend P1 LTE on contract to ensure that you're ahead of the game before 4G goes live in the UK at the end of this month.

Sony's new flagship smartphone, the Xperia T, which was announced at IFA last month, is now available to purchase in the UK from Three.

As with most phones on the network, the Xperia T is available with truly unlimited data on the One Plan, which will cost customers £34 a month with an upfront cost of £29. The cheaper Ultimate Internet 500 plan is also available, and will put customers back £30 a month.

We heard that the ZTE Warp Sequent was on its way to Boost Mobile a couple of weeks ago, and sure enough, it's now available to buy for $199.99.

The 4.3-inch phone packs a qHD display, and is powered by a 1.4GHz CPU with 768MB RAM. You'll be able to take photos and make video calls using the 1.3MP front facing camera, whilst the rear shooter allows you to capture 5MP shots.

Are you looking for a new game to fill your daily commute? Pebble Universe might just fit the bill. The physics-based puzzle game has made its way over to Android from iOS, and offers 25 levels of gameplay for free.

The storyline behind the game is quite straight forward: you're responsible for a group of Pebbles (naturally), who are being attacked by soot-lump creatures wanting to eat delicious Pebble meat.

Now, in order to protect themselves against the evil creatures above, the Pebbles take advantage of the fact that their hats explode when they bump into each other.

cyanogenmod-cm10-nightlies-will-be-available-beginning-tonight

When CyanogenMod 9.0 stable was released a couple of weeks ago, the list of supported devices was dominated by Samsung and Sony Ericsson phones. Fortunately, the team has been hard at work since then to bring the popular firmware to as many devices as possible, and HTC EVO 3D owners will be glad to know that they can download a nightly build of CM 9 right now.

The build is currently available only for GSM models of the device, with CDMA remaining unsupported at the moment.

We've been talking about Sprint's upcoming LTE QWERTY, the Motorola Photon Q, for a few weeks now, and it's officially here. As of today, you can walk into a Sprint store and buy this "green machine with the power of Android" for the low, low price of $200 with a two-year agreement.

Need a refresher on specs? No problem.

  • 4.3" ColorBoost display
  • 1.5GHz dual-core processor (presumably Snapdragon S4)
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB storage, microSD card slot
  • 8MP 1080p rear shooter, 720p front-facing camera
  • HDMI out
  • NFC
  • Full QWERTY slider
  • LTE, global ready
  • Android 4.0.4

Sure, it's nothing to get overly-excited about, but if you're a fan of QWERTYs, the Photon Q is probably the best that you can buy right now.

While OUYA may have just finished up its amazing $8.6m run on Kickstarter, the company shows no signs of slowing. The website for the upcoming Android-powered game console is now live, which also includes pre-order availability.

As promised, the unit will cost $99 plus shipping ($10 in the U.S., $20 internationally), which includes one controller; additional controllers can be purchased for $30 a pop. You may want to hurry and get that order in, however - the expected deliver has already been pushed back one month, from March to April of 2013.

Typically, when we think about gadgets like this designed for children, Leapfrog comes to mind. Then there are the junk devices that use two-year old tech marketed as "for kids." The Nabi 2  shatters that mold, however, by using the quad-core Tegra 3 processor to power the device. That, combined with an array of fantastic and educational software, puts this tiny powerhouse in a league of its own. Best of all: it does all that for only $199.

google-nexus-7-2

Ever since the Nexus 7 was first announced, it has been in "ships soon" status on the Play Store. No matter how many times you F5'd it, nothing changed (don't lie - you know you did it). Then, a few days ago Google confirmed that pre-ordered N7s had started shipping. Heck, you could even walk in to some retailers and buy one. But if you're one of those Play Store purists (do those really exist?) the time has come: the 8GB Nexus 7 is now available directly from El Goog itself.

The wait is nearly over! Just a few days after AT&T announced the Galaxy S III would be available in stores soon, Verizon enters the fray with its own announcement. The much sought-after device will be available in Verizon stores starting July 10th. So, if you've been holding off on pre-ordering until you see it for yourself, your wait will be over in a week.

Both the 16GB and 32GB models will be available for $199 and $249 respectively.
