AT&T-Thumb

Some people live in places that have had 4G LTE coverage for a long time now. Others don't. AT&T is steadily working to fill in the gaps in its network, and today it has announced the launch of 12 additional markets. This brings the total up to 488 nationwide.

This time the LTE fairy started in New York and Pennsylvania, then skipped about as she headed westward, eventually making the long jump all the way to Hawaii.

Sprint-Thumb

Sprint has been steadily rolling out 4G LTE coverage to markets across the country, presenting new clusters every month or so. This month's list is significantly longer than usual. We're not looking at a couple dozen here, but 70. These areas are spread all throughout the country, but many of them are concentrated in the South, with new locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.

Rdio-Thumb

Spotify made news earlier today by lowering its barrier to entry, allowing users to stream music to their phone or tablets for free. Yet it isn't the only music-streaming service in town, and competitor Rdio has expanded access to 20 additional countries. This brings the total number of supported territories up to 51, which this handy map illustrates.

The last time we saw an expansion of Google Play Books was nearly a month ago when the service opened up shop in South Africa, Switzerland, and Turkey. Since then, it would appear Google has been making headway in its continued effort to bring more of its services to as many countries as possible. This time around, the list of countries in which Play Books is available has been updated to include Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela.

If you thought the Galaxy Gear was priced poorly, wait till you see Qualcomm's in-house alternative. In a press release issued Monday morning the monster chip supplier announced that its unique Toq smartwatch would be available starting December 2nd, AKA "Cyber Monday," from toq.qualcomm.com. The price? A wallet-straining $349.99, fifty bucks more than Samsung's watch and about twice the price of more budget-focused alternatives like Pebble. The Toq will only be sold in the US.

Nexus5-Thumb2

Activating a Nexus 5 on T-Mobile is far from a difficult process, but if you missed out on the first wave of Nexus 5s on Google Play, T-Mobile will soon be ready to sell one to you themselves. The company is launching the latest Nexus handset on November 14th online, and they will introduce it in-stores a week later.

Rather than paying $349 for the phone on Google Play, T-Mobile customers can buy it for $41.99 down, followed by 24 monthly payments of $17.

Zoom-Thumb

The Galaxy S4 Zoom is what you get if you hold a Galaxy S4 in one hand, a digital camera in the other, and slam them together. Samsung unveiled the device early in the summer, and while it didn't take long to arrive in other areas of the world, it's only just now coming to the US. Come November 8th, AT&T will become the first camera to offer the Galaxy S4 Zoom on this side of the pond.

If you're the type who prefers to buy their phone online, head over to either website, as both carriers are now shipping the device.

The Galaxy Note 3 will set AT&T customers back $299.99 with a two-year contract, which is less than the $349.99 Sprint is charging its customers upfront for the same phone.

FIFA14-Thumb

We know some of you have been dying to get your hands on a mobile version of FIFA 14, and you probably hated to find out that the game was now available, just not in your country. When we first posted earlier today, this game was only out in several countries. Well, patient soccer fans, it's time to check the Play Store again. EA has taken an awkward approach to rolling out this title, but it should now be available in most countries.
