It has been two years since flagship audio brand Audio-Technica launched its first true-wireless earbuds with active noise cancelation (ANC). The brand has an established reputation for top-notch audio and a price to match. The brand’s latest true-wireless earbuds — the ATH-TWX9 — promise to deliver the quality we know the brand for, but it has one feature setting it apart from similarly priced rivals. So far, there's no word on a U.S. release for these headphones but they're on sale in other markets from today.

Audio-Technica's been making audio equipment for almost 60 years. In that time, it's earned a reputation for making great, no-nonsense headphones. Its newest true wireless earbuds, the ATH-ANC300TW, play to the company's strengths: they're straightforward and sound incredible. But they're also simple to a fault, failing to offer high-tech features I've come to expect in premium true wireless sets — and that makes the prospect of spending $230 on them dubious.

Japanese companies are going big on true wireless buds with active noise cancellation. Sony was among the first to launch such a device, with Panasonic announcing its own range just yesterday. It's now rival Audio-Technica's turn to unveil a pair of true wireless earbuds with ANC at CES.

The ~$300 active noise-cancelling Bluetooth headphone market is heating up. Bose was arguably the pioneer of the segment, but many other audio companies have since thrown their hats into the ring. One of the latest entrants is Audio-Technica, a company with plenty of reputation to uphold.Having spent several weeks with the ATH-ANC900BT, I've found that it's deserving of the Audio-Technica logos on it in terms of sound quality, but it falls short in other arenas. It reminds me a lot of the Bose QuietComfort 35 II in many ways, both good and bad. Ultimately, I don't think it's worth the $299 asking price given all of the issues.

Audio-Technica is a fan-favorite manufacturer of comparatively reasonably priced, high-quality audio gear. The company announced a slew of new products at CES this year, including several pairs of new additions to its noise-canceling QuietPoint line. Among those are the ATH-ANC900BT, a pair of high-end wireless cans meant to compete with the likes of the Sony WH-1000XM3.

Audio-Technica's M40x and M50x headphones are some of the best loved headphones in existence. Rocking a 4.6 star rating on Amazon with over 2,200 reviews, the M50x is a shoo-win for the 'Most Popular' award in the audio device high school yearbook. They sound great, are well built, fit comfortably, and aren't terribly expensive.Especially today, as they are currently on sale. Amazon has the M40x for an all-time low at $64.99 and the M50x for just $117.95 – which is also a great price for that set of cans. If you, like me, live in a state where Amazon charges sales tax, then you may choose to pick up the M40x for the same price through Adorama instead (make sure you use the provided link or the discounted price won't appear).I have wanted to try the M50x for months, but I promised my wife that I wouldn't buy any more headphones (I love headphones). She told me that I'd have to sleep in the garage if I bought another pair. I do have a rather comfortable couch in the garage and it's not nearly as cold out there as it was a month ago... Oh man – decisions. If your wife hasn't banned you from buying headphones, then you can pick up a pair for yourself by following the links below.Amazon

If you're looking for some high-grade headphones to get you through that insufferable plane ride or 12-hour road trip that's looming in a few weeks, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal than the one Adorama has right now. The online electronics store is selling Audio-Technica's ATH-M50x, a studio-grade set of around-the-ear wired headphones, for just . That's $70 off of Adorama's regular price, and a whopping $140 cheaper than Audio-Technica's recommended retail price. The white version is the only one available, but it's even cheaper than the Amazon deal from a couple of weeks ago.

Among our favorite wired headphone brands, Audio Technica sits conveniently toward the top of the list, and we're not alone in thinking that. Amazon customers and people who know more about sound and audio signatures than me like and recommend them as well. If you've been wanting to grab a pair for a while or you just want to supplement your headphone collection with a relatively cheap but good addition, today's your day.Amazon has the Audio Technica ATH-M40X at an all-time low. According to Camelx3, these usually retail around the $99 mark, and very rarely dip below the $80 line. At $67, they might be getting close to impulse-buy territory, especially since they're almost as cheap as the M30X (which are around $54 now). Details-wise, you're looking at 40mm drivers, swiveling ear cups, and a carrying pouch.

Earlier this week I posted a deal for a pair of super bass heavy cans, the Sony Bluetooth Extra Bass Headphones. While that set of over-ear audio blasters appealed to some listeners, others may prefer a more balanced sound profile. If that's the style of headphones you're after, you'd be hard pressed to find a pair more popular than the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x. Today, they just happen to be available for their lowest price ever at $119.99, ten bucks off their previous low.

For audiophiles and casual listeners alike, Audio Technica's M-series is an institution of sorts. The product line has proven durable, comfortable, and top tier in audio quality all at price points that shouldn't scare off someone willing to put a small investment into their listening experience. If even those prices were still a little steep for you, today there's no excuse. Amazon is offering three models at all-time low prices, according to CamelCamelCamel's price tracking history. The ATH-50x is available for $129, down from its usual $165. The ATH-40x is at $79 (down from $99) while the most affordable ATH-30x is $49 (typically $70). Those former prices I've mentioned aren't retail prices, either, those are the street prices that you can normally find them for at Amazon and elsewhere. The discounts are major drops even on that.Amazon_com__Over_40__Off_Audio-Technica_M-Series_Headphones__Musical_InstrumentsEnough with the sales pitch, these things market themselves. Just poke through the countless positive reviews and you can draw your own conclusions. You better do it fast, though, because the deal ends today. Follow the source link to get there.Source: Amazon

Just five days ago, we shared with you a rather short-lived deal on Audio Technica's stellar Professional Studio Monitor headphones where the M30x and M40x were discounted 20% while the M50x was down $40 to $129. At the time, you needed to enter a coupon code to benefit from the offer, but it was still positively received because of its value. The deal is back today only on the M50x, and it's even easier now since you don't have to bother with coupons.audiotechnica-m50x-deal

Amazon Deals is offering a great opportunity to pick up a pair of Audio-Technica Professional Studio Monitor Headphones at significantly discounted prices. You've got a choice of 3 different models: ATH-M30x, ATH-M40x, and ATH-M50x.
