MyColorScreen waited a few days before announcing the circumstances of its removal from Google Play, and just like that, Google has let the developers know the app is good to go once again. The app should be live for everyone in a matter of hours.

The removal was due to a DMCA complaint from Apple because of a theme that imitated iOS 7. The theme was removed, but the team was disheartened when no one at Google could give them any idea when the app would be restored – they feared the app could be in limbo for weeks.

You might have noticed something missing from the Play Store in the last few days. One-click theming app Themer Beta by MyColorScreen was pulled from Google Play late on February 2nd due to a copyright complaint from Apple. When it will return is not clear, but it's probably not going to be immediate.

The cards have been creeping into more apps as of late, and now it looks like Google is testing a new mobile web interface for YouTube with some of that card-based Android flavor. There are more cards, a cleaner video pages, and a slide-out navigation drawer that could have been ripped right from Android.

The new web UI could easily be mistaken for the YouTube app at first glance.

One of CyanogenMod's most popular features is an expanded version of the now defunct App Ops UI that debuted in Android last summer. The most recent nightly builds of CM have implement a new ability in App Ops. Users can now stop apps from starting up with a simple toggle.

The Battery Guru app from Qualcomm promises to learn how you use your phone and make small tweaks to improve battery life. Glance, a new app from Qualcomm, uses that same usage data to build an intelligent lock screen. Battery Guru is required, so that means this is a Snapdragon-only experience.

Glance integrates a lot of supposedly intelligent features that tailor themselves to your usage. It lists upcoming appointments, apps you might want to use, frequent contacts, and the weather (because everything has to show the weather).

Update: Cloud.TV has clarified that it will unlock the Prime features for anyone who bought the old Prime unlocker, but does not have it installed. You just need to get in touch to make that happen. That sounds reasonable.

Update 2: Dayframe Prime unlocker app is back too.

Update 3: Google has asked Dayframe to pull Chromecast support for the time being until the official Play services SDK is out.
