Viber provides a way to get around those pricey carrier bills for messaging, and it throws in free VoIP calls too. The app has been in need of an overhaul for a while, and now it's here. Viber has been updated to be snappier and includes a few new features.

Titanium Backup has been a top app for rooted users since early in Android's life. It's still one of the best ways to backup and manage the apps installed on your phone or tablet. After the Android 4.3 update started rolling out, users found that Titanium wasn't working quite right. Today's update fixes that issue, and adds a few more goodies.

Good old T9 is still good for some stuff, as we recently learned from T9 App Dialer. Apparently this is becoming a thing now, because here comes LevelUp Studio (of Beautiful Widgets fame) with an alternative T9 app launcher. Quad Drawer lets you tap out app names, but it does a lot more.
You can launch Quad Drawer like any other app to get the keypad, but it also has swipable tabs with multiple ways of listing your apps – recent, install date, alphabetical, and most used.
You can make almost anything in Minecraft, even people. If you want to design a new block-based being while on the go, there's the new Minecraft Skin Studio for Android. This app allows you to build a person pixel by pixel and upload it to your Minecraft game.
Minecraft Skin Studio isn't made by Mojang, the company behind Minecraft, However, it has talked up this app quite a bit, and it seems to be the premiere way to design Minecraft skins.
