Digitally Imported Radio (DI.FM) Gets Google Cast Support In Latest Update

Digitally Imported Radio takes music and digitally imports it into your mobile device of choice. It's more practical than toting around analog media. Take your phone for example. You don't want to try sticking non-digital stuff in that.

With the newest version, you can take that digitally imported music and send it to your TV thanks to Google Cast support. Whether you're using an old Chromecast, a new one, or a set-top box with Android TV.

[APK Download] Maps 9.17 With Offline Navigation, Searching, Much Larger Saved Areas, And Direct Shortcut To Your Contributions

Several years ago Google introduced the ability to use Google Maps offline, sort of. You could save portions of an area, but you couldn't use navigation, nor could you do much else. It was more of a tease than a practical feature.

At this year's I/O, Google announced that better things were on the way. Soon, the company said, we would get offline search. We would get turn-by-turn navigation.

Nearly half a year later, Google has now officially rolled out the functionality. The feature is making its way to devices. If you cannot wait, you're in luck, because we have the APK available for download at the end of this post.

To do so, tap the camera icon that's initially located on the right side of your dock. That little rectangle with a circle in it will fire up an app with the expected capture button, shooting modes, and settings. Said app is also available in the Play Store.

Version 1.4 of the Android Wear app started rolling out late Friday. The theme of this update, at least for what's currently live, is a set of changes to the Settings screen. There are a couple of new options, but they come at the expense of the battery stats screen. A look under the hood also shows that a few other features are either live or in the works for the next Wear OS update.

A late-night update to the Play Store slipped out just before midnight. A close examination doesn't turn up any big visual changes or new features, but this version is begging for a teardown. There's even a neat way to add credit cards if they have NFC. There's no point in teasing it out, just get to reading. Google Wallet v11.0 Now Supports Multiple Bank Accounts And Adds An Instant Lock Button [APK Download]

The Google Wallet app just received a version bump, bringing it up to v11.0-R234-v13. (Seriously, what is up with this version number?) Like some of the other updates this week, there aren't any big changes, but the changes that are there will tighten up some of the oversights and issues that were left in the wake of Google splitting Wallet into two separate apps. The new version has a handful of minor visual tweaks and bug fixes, but more importantly it adds support for multiple bank accounts and a new button to quickly lock the app for security.

The Wallet app has always supported multiple credit and debit cards, but it strangely limited users to just one single bank account.

Android Auto v1.4 Cleans Up The Companion App Interface And Adds Granular Control For Previously Connected Cars [APK Download]

The Android Auto companion app is generally one of those things you're probably only going to work with a couple of times before you're done setting things up, then it'll stay tucked away, never to be seen again. But that doesn't mean it shouldn't look good and be as useful as possible. An update to the Android Auto app began rolling out today and it's a near total refresh of the user interface. Granted, there's not a lot to change, but it now looks much more like the companion app for Android Wear.

Latest Microsoft Office For Android Updates Bring Easier Sign-In, Reduced App Size, Cloud Font Support, And More

Microsoft Office is available for Android. No, this isn't new news, but considering how unlikely that seemed not many years ago, it's nice to reflect every now and then.
