Nvidia's TegraZone app is primarily aimed at Tegra-powered devices, but the new update to version 2.9 opens it up to everyone. You can check out Nvidia's curated game listings if you're using a Snapdragon, Exynos, or whatever else. Keep in mind, not all the games you find will be compatible, but it can be a nice way to explore some good games

A nice update for the VoIP app Viber has just been dropped into Google Play with some highly desired features, so get ready to call everyone you know to deliver the good news. Presumably you will call them with Viber.

Getting content from your old phone to a new one can be a hassle, but Motorola Migrate makes it surprisingly simple. Just install the app on both devices, scan a QR code or NFC, and the transfer happens over a direct WiFi connection. With today's update, Migrate expands beyond the Android ecosystem to include the ability to get your data from iDevices backed up with iCloud.

The status bar is a fine way to see your notifications as they come in, but Floatifications offers a different route. This app – which was previously known by the name Floating Notifications – puts your notifications into a secondary popup system. The app is getting an update today with a new notification type and plenty of tweaks and fixes.

Even though Falcon Pro has long since been pulled from the Play Store after running out of Twitter tokens, the developer continues to build updates to squash bugs and even add new features. Today's update brings Falcon Pro up to v2.1 and includes some much needed options and tweaks.

Microsoft isn't really known for designing great apps for Android, but whoever is in charge of the OneNote app is going above and beyond. The UI has been cleaned up dramatically recently and the newest update includes some solid feature additions. This could be – dare I say it – a good Microsoft app on Android.

If there was ever a reason to use lock screen widgets, DashClock is it. This app from Google Engineer Roman Nurik creates a cool widget for your home or lock screen that can show data from multiple apps. It has been a while since it got an update (v1.5 was back in June), but v1.6 is out now with some nice tweaks.

The Hulu Plus app has gone from a poorly supported buggy mess to a solid experience during its run. In the most recent update, Hulu Plus gains some cool new features like Android-y slide-out navigation and a redesigned layout for shows with multiple seasons. The volume of ads, however, remains unchanged.

People didn't always hate Zagat, but Google's new vision for the iconic restaurant review guide has not been widely accepted. The service became free, but Google also revamped it and limited the number of cities it tracked. The new update makes some tweaks to the app and expands the supported cities, but it's probably not going to do much to improve the app's 2.4 star rating.

Androidify was a neat distraction when it came out a few years back, but it quickly fell by the wayside. Forgotten, it waited in the Play Store for its chance to shine again, and here we are. Google has updated Androidify with a new UI and some spiffy holiday duds.
