2011 was most definitely the year during which Android gaming was transformed from relatively mediocre to absolutely stunning. As an introduction for all the newcomers and a refresher for those who have been with Android for a while, here are all of the game roundups we've posted in 2011.
Every single one of you should find something in there that you will want to install. I can suggest two strategies:
- Browse the top of each post for the cream of the crop selection (I think I started sorting by quality towards the end of the first half of the year).
- Browse them all, but be prepared to clear your schedule for a few hours.

It's a brand new week, and the staff here at Android Police has something to be excited about - we're less than 100 tweeps away from 10,000 amazing and supportive followers! You guys lighten up our days and nights with your comments, so we decided to give some back, in the form of a quick contest.
To help push through - no, blast through - 10,000 followers, we have acquired a $50 gift certificate to Zazzle.com, one of the top apparel (t-shirts, etc) sites on the Internet, and we are itching to give it out to one of our most loyal Twitter followers.

About a month and a half ago, we announced our biggest contest yet - your creativity expressed as an official Android Police t-shirt design in exchange for an Android phone, courtesy of Samsung.
The contest went on for about 3 weeks and the results exceeded my wildest expectations. Countless submissions later, many sleepless nights of doing final edits, emailing back and forth with the authors, and organizing the apparel store, I had narrowed down the submissions to... are you ready for this? 29 final designs - designs that I would be proud to wear every day, showing my Android pride.
I must apologize again for taking this long - we hit a few snags, and learning from this experience, next time, I will make sure to come up with an even more detailed set of rules.
