Amazon has already made it obsolete to leave the house to shop for most non-food items, but now it's taking care of your grocery needs – if you live in LA or Seattle. AmazonFresh launched in Seattle a few months ago as a way for users to order a variety of fresh food items for home delivery. The expansion of the service to LA is the first new market that has been added.

Unless you have the HTC One with BoomSound , you probably don't want to listen to music through your phone's wimpy little speakers. A Bluetooth speaker is a popular solution to the problem, but they can get pricey. The Philips Fidelio Docking Speaker for Android is priced pretty reasonably, and it's on sale through Amazon today.

If you're in the market and don't need the most cutting edge device, Amazon has a solid deal on the LG Optimus G for Sprint. The price for this handset has fallen to a single penny on a 2-year contract. This deal is open to all interested parties, whether it's for a new line of service or not. The Optimus G was previously only this cheap for new customers.

The LG Optimus G came out last fall, but it has since been overshadowed by the likes of the HTC One and Galaxy S4.

Amazon tends to be a bit focused on the United States because, well, it's a US company. But they're expanding the reach of both the Amazon Appstore (which now works in almost 200 countries) and the Kindle itself. A press release this morning announced that the Kindle Fire HD is now available for pre-order in more than 170 countries, in both the standard 7" model and the premium 8.9". Hardware will begin shipping out to customers on Thursday, June 13th.

Gordon Gekko tells us that "Greed is Good," a sentiment that I happen to agree with under the circumstances. n Amazon's continuing effort to be the first place everybody turns to for their Internet purchases, the online retail giant has updated its Android Appstore to v5.0 and now supports "nearly 200" countries. Thanks to an announcement last month, we know that this expansion propels the precise count from merely 7 markets up to a shocking 195.

As part of Amazon's overarching goal to be the center of your shopping life, the company debuted an aggregator of daily deal services (think Groupon and Living Social) 2 years ago. The initial launch was limited to the United States, but Amazon Local has since expanded to foreign shores; last year, Amazon rolled it out in the UK. Now, the company's making Local's companion Android app compatible with UK deals.

If you have a penchant for big phones, but find the Galaxy Note II entirely too pedestrian, the LG Optimus G Pro on AT&T might be just the thing. AT&T is asking $199.99 for this brand new device, but Amazon is already offering a deal (albeit a small one). The Optimus G Pro can currently be snatched online for $169.99 on a 2-year contract.

The old adage is as true today as it's ever been: good things come to those who wait. Today, Amazon.ca finally granted Canadians access to Amazon Cloud Drive. Our North American siblings can now re-upload all of the photos they've already backed up to iCloud, Dropbox, and Google Drive to Amazon's servers using Cloud Drive Photos for Android and iOS.

Cloud Drive works well for storing music, especially for people who have stocked up on the $5 albums that Amazon rotates each month.
