Amazon has just lowered the price of the RAZR MAXX to a staggeringly-low $99 for new customers (it's $199 for upgrades). Check it out here. This is by far the lowest price we've seen on this device (previous low was $149), so if you were waiting for it on the cheap, now's the time to grab it.
Who doesn't love a good deal? Today, Amazon and Wirefly are offering another one today to potential or current Verizon customers: a $40 off your bill if you buy or upgrade to a Verizon 4G phone this week. New customers as well as old will get the $40 credit on their next bill, which is a pretty significant chunk of your bill.
The deal will be going on from now until midnight on Thursday, June 14th, so if you were planning on upgrading, now would be a good time to do it. There are, as usual, some pretty good deals going on in the Amazon Wireless store as well, including the LTE Galaxy Nexus for a penny.
Been thinking about switching over to Big Red? Amazon Wireless has a good deal for you: the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX for $150. Aside from the Galaxy Nexus, the MAXX is the only other device on VZW at the moment I feel comfortable recommending to people looking for an upgrade, and $150 is a pretty good deal.
If you want to make it an even better deal, though, you should buy it today. Why? Because Verizon will give you a $40 credit if you do. But that deal ends tomorrow, so make haste with your purchase decision. But don't be too hasty - we all end up regretting those impulse buys.
If you're yearning to get a Sprint-connected Galaxy Nexus but missed Wirefly's pre-order deal, you're in luck – Amazon Wireless is offering one of the Now Network's first LTE devices for just $149.99 with a new activation or eligible upgrade, a $50 discount over Sprint's normal subsidized price of $199.99.
Just in case you've forgotten what makes the Galaxy Nexus an awesome device, here are its specs one more time:
-
4.65" 720p Super AMOLED display
-
Sprint LTE Connectivity
-
NFC (With Google Wallet Support)
-
1.2GHz Dual-Core OMAP 4460 Processor
-
1GB RAM

Three years ago, Amazon opened a new online store dedicated to changing the way users buy cell phones. That store has now evolved into a go-to place for anyone who wants to get a great deal on a phone, free two-day shipping, and the top-notch customer service that Amazon is known for. Today, that store loses its beta tag, and brings two new features to the service: best price guarantee and free premium apps for Android users.
As the name suggest, the best price guarantee gives users peace of mind when buying a device from Amazon. It basically sates that if you buy a phone from AW and find a lower price (with the same plan) on another site within 14 days of your purchase, AmazonWireless will return the difference.
It looks like those still anxious to get their hands on Samsung's new phablet – The Galaxy Note – are in luck - Amazon Wireless is offering the Note for just $249.99 when customers upgrade or agree to a new 2 year contract. That's about $50 less than AT&T's price.
Even better, Amazon Wireless is giving customers the option of a white or black version of the Note (though the color selections are officially known as ceramic and carbon).
For those who may have already forgotten, the Note has some undoubtedly competitive specs among current devices (including its luxuriously huge screen):
- 5.3" 800 x 1280 HD super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass
- 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
- 1GB of ram
- 16GB of internal memory, expandable via microSD
- 8MP camera with 1080p HD video capability
- 2MP front-facing camera
- 2,500 mAh battery
- Android 2.3.6 with Samsung's latest TouchWiz UX
- 4G-LTE capable
- 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi
If you've been awaiting the Note and haven't already picked one up from AT&T, click through either of the links below to grab one at a nice discount.
The LG Spectrum is probably one of the most impressive phones that you'll find with a sub-$200 price tag in the current market. It may not be packing the insanely powerful NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, but don't sell it short - it's a sleek device.
- 4.5-inch 1280x720 display
- 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor
- 1GB RAM
- 4GB built-in storage, microSD card slot
- 8MP rear shooter, 1.3MP ffc
- 1,830mAh battery
- Android 2.3.5 (Android 4.0 update promised)
- 4G LTE
It landed on Verizon just one short week ago for the reasonable price of $200, but that just wasn't good enough for the guys at Amazon wireless.
Well, it's finally here – Verizon's variant of the hotly anticipated Galaxy Nexus is available at last, going live with a variety of online retailers just moments ago.
First up is VZW, offering what is perhaps their most hotly anticipated device this year for the hefty price of $299 with a new 2 year agreement.
Amazon Wireless, one of our favorite online mobile retailers, launched its Black Friday promotions a little early this year, and boy are they good!
Did I say good? I meant absolutely incredible (though, unfortunately, only for new customers): every single phone at Amazon Wireless sold by Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and Sprint is going for just 1 penny.
Yup, even such $299 monsters as the HTC Rezound 4G and the DROID RAZR, along with the Galaxy S II variants (including the Skyrocket) are all priced down to a cent above free.
97 phones in total are participating in this Penny Pincher promotion, which is scheduled to go through Cyber Monday (November 28th), giving you ample time to pick up the best cell phone deals of the year.
Plan on kicking your current carrier to the curb so you can switch to Big Red and grab the LTE-packin' HTC Rezound? Want to save yourself a hundred bucks in the process? If so, head on over to Amazon Wireless, where you can snag the Rezound for $200 ($229 for existing customers looking to upgrade). Yeah, that's a pretty nice savings, and it definitely beats walking into VZW and dropping three full Benjamins.
Want a refresher on what the Rezound has to offer? Fear not -- we've got your back.
- 4.3-Inch 720p (1280*720) display
- 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor
- 1GB RAM
- 16GB built-in storage, 16GB microSD card
- 8P camera, 2MP front cam
- Beats by Dre
- 4G LTE with simultaneous voice/data capabilities (like the Thunderbolt)
- Android 2.3.5 with Sense 3.5
If you're ready to sign the next two years of your life over to Big Red, hit the link below and make it happen.
