Lenovo Reveals The Super Cheap TAB 2 A7-10 And A7-30 7-Inch Tablets, Starting At $99

It's not hard to find an Android tablet for less than a hundred bucks - head down to your nearest drugstore and there's a decent chance you'll see one. The trick is finding one that's worth using at that price. While most of these ultra-cheap tablets are no-name Chinese models, Lenovo just announced a pair of new 7-inchers in the A Series starting at only a single Benjamin. I guess that would make them name brand Chinese tablets, but hey, Lenovo beats whatever company is using the Polaroid license this year.

Acer Unveils Three New Android Tablets, Coming 2011 In Your Size

Taiwanese consumer electronics giant Acer is having a global press conference in New York right now, and they just wrapped up the hardware portion of the event. In its wake are three new Android devices to lust over. Rather than forcing you to go with one size only, Acer has an attractive trio to choose from.

First up was a 10-incher, powered by a 1GHz Tegra II. The device will run Google's "Android Tablet OS" (Honeycomb?) with a custom Acer UI, but was demoed running Froyo.

Dell Streak Headed To Best Buy While Its 7-Inch Brethren Gets Teased (Could This Be The Looking Glass?)

 

Ever since the Dell Streak launched with Android 1.6, the company has been making desperate attempts to bring the 5-inch tablet/phone hybrid into the eyes of the public, but somehow, the public just hasn't noticed yet (even releasing the source code didn't help).

Dell's latest attempt at stardom? Making the Streak available from Best Buy. No word on that long overdue update to FroYo, lowering that sky-high price tag, or even that leaked update to Eclair, but hey - at least now you can get it from a location where all employees are dressed in blue, right?
