Never Settle: OnePlus confirms it won't update the OP2 to Android 7.0 Nougat

For having the slogan, "Never settle," the OnePlus 2 has caused owners to settle for less quite often. The phone itself wasn't well-received, due to the lack of NFC connectivity and other problems. And despite initially promising Android 7.0 Nougat for the OP2, there have been no releases or further news, leaving owners annoyed to say the least.

The T-Mobile LG Stylo 2 Plus is getting an Android 7.0 update, for real this time

The LG Stylo 2 Plus is a pretty standard budget phone, with a Snapdragon 430 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 2,900mAh battery. The phone's standout feature is a large 5.7" display, with the low resolution of 720x1280 (again, because it's a budget phone). It shipped with Android 6.0, but now the T-Mobile model is getting a bump to 7.0 Nougat.

Samsung Posts Jelly Bean Open Source Files For Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, 7.0, AT&T Galaxy Note II

It looks like Samsung has posted up some fresh new open source files today, including files for the AT&T-connected Galaxy Note II. The real story, though, is that Jelly Bean open source files have also been posted for both the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, neither of which have received their official 4.1 updates just yet.

Readers may remember Samsung hinting at an impending update for these (and other devices) back in September, but the availability of these files may suggest that the update is looming very near.

It seems as though every Google app is getting an upgrade during I/O, and Google Earth is no exception, with version 7 now available to download through the Play Store.

The latest version includes a new feature called Tour Guide, which highlights all of the places a city has to offer, both to tourists and locals. For example, if you're in Rome, the app will point out places such as the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, two spots that are very popular with tourists.

To access Tour Guide, you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal a series of tab-like options which you can then select to look at in closer detail.
