Exclusive: New Sprint Plans For The HTC EVO View 4G

Since the upcoming HTC EVO View 4G will be Sprint's first WiMAX-capable tablet, the Now Network decided to tweak its tablet plans a bit. The baseline price is quite similar to the current tablet plan pricing: 1GB for $20, 3GB for $45, and 5GB for $60. It does, however, include a few new options, namely a new 10GB plan for $90 a month and the addition of unlimited 4G data for a 3GB plan or higher.

LG Revolution Gets ClockworkMod Recovery, But It's Not Ready - Yet

If you've been following the saga of attempts to get a custom recovery running on the LG Revolution, you might be aware things hadn't been going so well up until last night. Particularly because most attempts to load custom recoveries onto the Revo previously ended in bricked phones and nerdrage. Well, no more (sorry for the craptastic picture):

You'll have to take my word about that being an LG Revolution. It is.

Sprint 4G Uplink Speed Cap To Increase From 1.0 To 1.5Mbps On June 10th

Come Friday, June 10, Sprint subscribers with 4G coverage will be treated to a pleasant surprise: the WiMAX uplink speed cap will increase from 1.0Mbps to 1.5Mbps.

Obviously, the 1.5Mbps upload speed won't be consistent everywhere, as reception varies (significantly, with Sprint). Also notable is that if you're using a "fixed device" (i.e. a Motorola 4G desktop modem), you won't be affected; the 1.0Mbps speed cap is on your device to stay.

That's a relief. If the Bionic had shipped with Froyo, Motorola might have had a user rebellion on its hands.

After digging through a pile of pictures from the Chinese website, a tipster at MobileGearz discovered what appear to be leaked shots of the upcoming Motorola DROID Bionic. So, without further ado, here they are:

Yep, that's a Webtop dock you're seeing. Not to mention a completely new and revamped version of BLUR, Motorola's generally hated UI overlay. I have to admit, this version of BLUR actually borders on attractive.

HTC EVO 3D Coming June 24, Says RadioShack Flyer

Update: One of our commenters has pointed out that a current Sprint carrier-switch incentive plan (offering $125 per line to switch from another carrier) ends on June 23rd. Oddly convenient timing, don't you agree? That makes this date seem even more likely. Thanks Todd!

Well, there's been a lot of rumor-mongering about the EVO 3D's release date, and we've stayed pretty silent on the matter. Today, thanks to the good folks over at Phandroid, we've got a date we feel pretty confident in posting (in the sense that it was probably real at the time the flyer in question was printed):

Aside from the almost annoyingly ever-present Green Hornet ad-placement, at the center of the ad you can clearly see the words "Pre-order the new HTC EVO 3D Today.

It doesn't come as much of a surprise, but T-Mobile has finally announced the release date of the long-awaited Sensation 4G - by June 15 at T-Mobile retail stores, and as early as June 12 at select Wal-Mart locations. Unfortunately, T-Mobile didn't provide anything in the way of pricing, but we'll certainly be hearing about that in the coming days.
