We've been talking about Sprint's upcoming LTE QWERTY, the Motorola Photon Q, for a few weeks now, and it's officially here. As of today, you can walk into a Sprint store and buy this "green machine with the power of Android" for the low, low price of $200 with a two-year agreement.

Need a refresher on specs? No problem.

  • 4.3" ColorBoost display
  • 1.5GHz dual-core processor (presumably Snapdragon S4)
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB storage, microSD card slot
  • 8MP 1080p rear shooter, 720p front-facing camera
  • HDMI out
  • NFC
  • Full QWERTY slider
  • LTE, global ready
  • Android 4.0.4

Sure, it's nothing to get overly-excited about, but if you're a fan of QWERTYs, the Photon Q is probably the best that you can buy right now.

Sprint announced the Photon Q, its first LTE device with a full QWERTY keyboard, back in late July with nary a word on pricing or availability. We've heard rumors here and there about a mid-August release, but The Now Network has finally unveiled an official release date of August 19th, as well as a price of $199 with a two-year agreement.

The Photon Q is Motorola's newest offering to the QWERTY world, and is basically an Atrix HD with a keyboard:

  • HDMI out
  • NFC

wm_GALAXY S III Product Image (8)_B

There's no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy S III is the best phone on all four major carriers right now. If you're considering picking one up on Big Red (despite its locked bootloader), you can now score the 32GB version in white or blue from either Amazon Wireless or Wirefly. Yeah, we know: it's a tough choice. First you have to decide which color to buy, then which vendor to buy it from. To make it easier, you could just do a couple of coin tosses. Maybe you'll end up with white from Amazon Wireless. Or perhaps the blue one from Wirefly.

Typically, when we think about gadgets like this designed for children, Leapfrog comes to mind. Then there are the junk devices that use two-year old tech marketed as "for kids." The Nabi 2  shatters that mold, however, by using the quad-core Tegra 3 processor to power the device. That, combined with an array of fantastic and educational software, puts this tiny powerhouse in a league of its own. Best of all: it does all that for only $199.

After my review, many people wanted to know when this device would be available. Good news: you can now order the device from Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and Gamestop.

The last horse finally crosses the finish line, as AT&T announces that its version of the Galaxy S III will be available for pre-order on June 6th. The 16GB version of the device will be available for $199 with a two-year contract. The company is also boasting the option of a 16GB MicroSD card available in stores for $39 (which you can easily get elsewhere for much cheaper). This might mean that a 32 GB option is not available for AT&T yet. But you know what is? A red Galaxy S III.

That's right, AT&T is announcing exclusive access to a red Galaxy S III, "for red, white and blue color choices." The red version won't be available immediately.

Back at CES, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang rocked the house when he briefly showed off a new 7" quad-core tablet that was said to be introing with a price tag of $250. Since then, he publicly stated that $199 Tegra 3 tablets could become a reality sometime this summer. We're now hearing more details of how these budget powerhouses will become a reality: a new platform call Kai.

Little is known about Kai right now, only that it's based on the Tegra 3 chip, but is developed at a much lower cost.

Our strategy on Android is simply to enable quad-core tablets running Android Ice Cream Sandwich to be developed and brought out to market at the $199 price point, and the way we do that is a platform we've developed called Kai.

The HTC EVO 4G LTE is probably the most anticipated phone to ever makes its way to the Now Network (except maybe that other phone), and it in just ten days, you'll be able to claim one as your own. That's right, Sprint finally announced the release date for the newest edition to the EVO line, and it will be hitting shelves on May 18th for $199 with a two-year agreement.

For anyone who hasn't already heard, the EVO LTE is the latest successor to Sprint's popular EVO line, and will be the third device to run on its upcoming LTE network.

The rollercoaster ride that has been the Droid 4 release timeline is finally coming to an end. We first heard that this device would be released back in December, but Moto/VZW halted it for some reason, so we've since been waiting. Release date rumors have come and gone, but we caught wind of the 2/10 date about a week ago, and it turns out that it was spot on.

With the Ideapad A1, Lenovo made it easy for those on a tight budget to get a tablet. Sure, it's no Galaxy Tab 10.1 or Transformer, but for kicking back on the couch and surfing the web, watching videos, or playing a game to kill some time, it's just what the doctor ordered. There are two versions available in the US -- 16GB and 32GB -- and the former just underwent a pricedrop over at Amazon. Previously $249, you can now score this little guy for $199.
