This contest is now over. You can find the winners in the Rafflecopter widget below.

It's the holiday season, and you know what that means: people are running around frantically trying to buy things. Among those things, you'll likely find a hefty supply of gadgets and gizmos, because this is the 21st Century, and everyone must have at least one techno-thingy. But there's a quandary when it comes to buying mobile devices: price. Everyone wants to get the best possible deal, and this is the time of year to get it.

But getting a good deal isn't all that matters when selecting a place to purchase mobile devices from - there's also customer service.

We just posted some internal photos from Staples showing that the 32GB Nexus 7 is, indeed, making its way into retail stockrooms. And that's exciting. What we didn't show you, though, was one more photo from our intrepid office supply tipster, which contains some rather juicy information regarding the fate of the 8GB version of the Nexus 7. Take a look.

This is exactly what it appears to be: aisle end cap instructions for the upcoming holiday season. Thrilling. But look down to the "Notes" section at the bottom - there's some very intriguing stuff going on.

"Effective 10/30 SKU 949286 (Nexus 7" 8GB) will be clearance." If you're not aware, Staples has been one of the few brick and mortar locations selling the 8GB version of Google's tablet in the US.

When I first got my 16GB Nexus 7, it was fast. Probably faster than any other Android device I'd ever used. Everything was fluid, apps launched quickly, and transitioning between open applications was the best experience that I'd ever had on Android.

I was in love.

Then, a couple weeks ago, it inexplicably started to lag. A lot. I had just installed a test build of Horn, so I assumed that had something to do with it and uninstalled the game. After a quick reboot, I expected all would go back to normal. I was wrong.

I checked to see if anything out of the ordinary was running in the background, but found nothing amiss.
