Not too long ago, it looked like Google completely lost interest in its aptly named fitness tracking app Fit. But the company proved its renewed commitment with a full relaunch back in 2018, bringing Fit's design language in line with its other applications. Some features got lost during the transition, but Google has since worked hard to bring those back, along with including new capabilities and options. And these efforts seem to have paid off. Fit is celebrating the 100-million-downloads milestone on the Play Store just about two years after reaching 50 million.

Android TV may have started as a small side project for Google, dwarfed in size by its own Chromecast devices, but it's quickly becoming a star in its own right. YouTube — a preinstalled app on every Android TV device — recently hit 100 million installs for its Android TV variant, giving us a good idea of the platform's growth.

Any time an application hits 100 million installs on the Play Store, it's worth taking note. From podcast players to streaming services, it's a sign that an app has truly cemented its legacy on Android. It's not often that three apps reach this milestone all at once, but that's exactly what has happened today. PlayStation, myAT&T, and Moto Photo Editor have all earned their respective places in the Play Store hall of fame.

Disney+ launched in mid-November 2019 to throngs of eager fans — shortly before getting crushed under the weight of so many people trying to stream the first two episodes of The Mandalorian all at once. Despite the usual array of growing pains, Disney has developed a wildly successful streaming service with an incredible catalog of movies and series. It's so popular that the Disney+ app has now crossed 100 million downloads on the Play Store, only 16 months after it launched.

The YouTube Studio app is the latest to reach the 100-million Play Store install milestone. Given that YouTube Studio was built for creators who want to check on their YouTube channels while on the move, it seems that there are a lot of dedicated creators on the platform.

Android Auto recently passed 500 million installs on the Play Store, possibly thanks to its inclusion on most phones shipping with Android 10, and now two more Google-made applications have passed significant milestones.

The first Android Auto-equipped head units and vehicles started rolling out almost five years ago, but the Play Store client has just now hit 100 million downloads. It joins the likes of Google Home, Files, and others that have recently reached nine digits. While the app's future might be uncertain, it's still chugging along.

Google's applications frequently rack up a ton of downloads, and another has joined the 100 million club. The Google Home app, Google's one-stop destination for all things smart home, recently hit the nine-figure milestone.

Snapseed is one of the best photo editors available for Android, especially considering it's completely free. A year and a half after the app surpassed 50 million downloads on the Play Store, the app has now achieved over 100 million installations, according to its Play Store listing.

Gather 'round folks, Tez celebration time! Google's mobile payment solution for India, formerly known as Tez and later rebranded to Pay, has reached an important milestone in its software life: 100 million installs on the Play Store. This is usually when developers bring out the big cake and everyone wishes them zero bugs and 100% positive reviews for the months to come.

Google introduced its smart file manager back in November 2017 as "Files Go," though the Go moniker has since been dropped in favor of a more simple "Files by Google." In a little over 14 months, Files by Google has managed to get over 100 million downloads on the Play Store, which is pretty impressive for a file manager.

An Amazon Prime subscription comes with a ton of perks, and one of those is Prime Video. In my experience, it doesn't have nearly as much selection as Netflix or Hulu, and I personally only really use it to watch The Grand Tour. But back to the topic at hand: Prime Video now has over 100 million installs on the Play Store.

Google's Wallpapers app is pretty excellent, providing an ample selection of high-quality backdrops for your smartphone, tablet, or Play Store-equipped Chomrebook. The app hit the Play Store just a couple years ago, and it's been tearing it up ever since, having already passed 100 million installs.

Oh, Google. After so, so many attempts to get a music service right, the company appears to have settled on YouTube Music. Google started the shifting focus to YouTube Music earlier this year, making the app something you might actually want to download. The YouTube Music app has increased its footprint since the announcement, and it's just crossed the 100 million marker.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S Battlegrounds, or PUBG for short, is largely responsible for starting the current trend of Battle Royale games. It may have lessened in popularity following the launch of Fortnite and other similar games, but it still has a respectable following. In fact, it just passed 100 million downloads on the Play Store.

Everybody these days has a LinkedIn account, but mostly out of obligation. People don't consciously want to create one like they do with Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter; they do it because it's what's expected of them. For that reason, it's somewhat surprising that LinkedIn has managed to bamboozle 100 million people (or rather, Google accounts) into downloading its app from the Play Store.

Nowadays, several phone manufacturers have their own payment services. There's Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, the upcoming LG Pay, and of course, Google Pay. After experiencing two rebrands and retaining the same Play Store listing, the Google Pay app has just hit 100 million downloads on the Play Store.

If you're anything like me, you probably have an unending list of books that you want to read but never actually get around to because you just don't have the time or the patience. Audiobooks are a great way to take back some of the time that's spent on a commute or on the treadmill, so it's no surprise that Amazon-owned Audible is so popular. So popular, in fact, that it has now crossed 100 million downloads on the Play Store.

Super Mario Run arrived on the Play Store nearly a year ago, after a brief exclusivity period on iOS. It quickly became a hit, and gained a spot on our best Android games of 2017 list. Now it has passed 100 million installs on the Play Store.

Virtually every device with a mobile OS comes preloaded with a calculator app, and Google's products are no different. The aptly-named 'Calculator,' which comes on Google's phones and tablets but is available for download to any device, has just hit 100 million downloads on the Play Store.
