After a few days of relatively disappointing free premium apps of the day in the Amazon Appstore, today we have a real treat - the Pro version of a photo editing app PicSay. Before I go on, I must note that this is the only photo editing app I actually bought quite a while ago, after playing around with the free version. It's no wonder - the app has 4.8 stars and over 11,000 ratings in the Market.

PicSay Pro is one of the easiest and most versatile programs for quickly editing, saving, and sharing photos. And did I mention it's fun?

T-Mobile Launching Even More Plus Unlimited Plan For Just $59.99 A Month

T-Mobile is starting to get aggressive with customer acquisition and retention, and in light of less than stellar fiscal performance and the news of the AT&T deal, it's not hard to see why.

On April 13, the carrier will begin offering a new off-contract smartphone plan, and it's a steal - for $59.99 a month (down from $79.99), you'll get unlimited talk, text and data*. But, there are some significant catches. The first is that you'll have to pay full retail for your phone of choice - the Even More Plus plan is a month-to-month affair.

The second is arguably worse - your data usage is technically unlimited, but after the first 2GB (as opposed to the current 5GB) your data speeds will be throttled down until the next billing cycle.

Boost Mobile Announces Samsung Galaxy Prevail - Launching "Late April" For $179.99 Off-Contract

No one ever accused Boost Mobile of overachieving on the Android phone front, and the carrier's latest announcement doesn't really do much to change that. Indeed, just as expected, Sprint's little tagalong used its recent press conference to unveil its first CDMA Android handset: the Samsung Galaxy Prevail.

With an itsy-bitsy 3.2-inch display, a measly 2MP camera, and a tiny 2GB microSD card out of the box, the Prevail isn't about to blow anyone away - but then again, we geeks probably aren't Boost Mobile's target demographic here. And seeing as the Froyo-equipped device will set you back a mere $179.99 off-contract - $20 less than most smartphones cost with a two-year agreement - it might just win over a few new customers when it launches later this April.

Epic Games Not Available On Android, We Have The Carriers To Thank

Gizmodo recently sat down with Epic Games founder Tim Sweeney for a talk about gaming, mobile platforms, and the Sony NGP. Naturally, one of the topics at hand was Android, and, more specifically, why there are no Epic titles for the platform.

Epic Games has been producing iOS games for some time using the Unreal Engine, which provides detailed graphics and better gameplay. However, as Android users, we have never had the opportunity to see these types of games on our devices, and there seems to be good reason for that. No, it's not Google's fault. It's not Android's fault. It's not even the handset manufacturers' fault.

Photile Live Wallpaper Brings Your Existing Photos And Wallpapers To Life

I have seen a lot of live wallpapers and, truth be told, I'm generally not that impressed most of the time. Every once in a while, though, one comes along that is just so nice that I want to share it with everyone. This is one of those times.

Photile Live Wallpaper creates a LWP from any existing image. It adds a level of complexity to the images, while not overdoing it (a difficult task, I might add). It's elegant, smooth and beautiful. I could attempt to explain what it does exactly, but instead I will just share this video:

Fret Not, Sports Fans, The GO Dev Team Has Your Back - Meet GO Score

The same team that brought us GO SMS, GO Launcher, GO Weather, and a figurative myriad of other goodies are back again - this time with an offering for all the sports fans out there. The aptly titled GO Score brings almost real-time soccer and basketball scores to your mobile, with a multitude of others sports in the works.

GO Score offers some really outstanding features, such as user defined audio/vibration notifications, game analysis, current and past scores, odds from multiple sources, and live chat with no prior registration required.

This app is still in its early stages, and the GO Dev team are asking for comments to make it better, so if you notice something that you don't like, or think of something you'd like to see, make sure to drop them a line.

[Updated: Now Official] Samsung Galaxy Prevail Shows Up On Boost Mobile's Site

It has been rumored that Samsung and Boost Mobile will announce the Android 2.2 Galaxy Prevail at tonight's event in New York City, and that has been all but verified now. A Galaxy Prevail teaser is live on Boost's website, accompanied by a "sold online soon" badge and a cool $180 price tag, which seems like a pretty good deal for a no-contract phone.

From a tech aspect, the only thing that we know about the Galaxy Prevail at this point is what you see below, but it already appears to be the best choice from the current Boost lineup, even with that measly 2MP camera and a tiny 3.2" screen.

Back on March 23, Woot featured the Viewsonic gTablet as their deal of the day, selling the tablet for just $285 out the door. It sold out then, but it looks like they managed to get their hands on a few more, as it's the deal of the day once again. T-Mobile Bringing 4G HSPA+ To 10 New Cities, 42Mbps To Vegas, Orlando, and New York

Merger be damned, T-Mobile is continuing the expansion of its (potentially short-lived) 4G HSPA+ network, having added ten new cities, along with promising to double download speed caps in some major markets. The cities that have recently had T-Mobile 4G coverage activated include:

Ames, Iowa
Anderson, Indiana
Battle Creek/Benton Harbor/Jackson, Michigan
Fort Collins-Loveland, Colorado
Lawrence/Manhattan, Kansas
Springfield, Illinois
Wichita Falls, Texas

The major markets receiving the upgrade to theoretical 42Mbps HSPA+ (note: there are no 42Mbps HSPA+ phones out there) will first be Las Vegas, Orlando, and New York, with Chicago, Long Island, and Northern New Jersey following shortly after.
