When I was younger, video game tips came in one of two forms: a Nintendo hotline that you could call to get someone to walk you through the game, or you could find a written guide in one giant doc with some kind of ASCII art at the top. You kids today get all the nice stuff. Like video walkthroughs delivered directly to your phone or tablet via Break Media's new GameFront app.

Today, Sony announced two new handsets to add to its existing smartphone lineups, led by the new SP. This handset has a 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Plus, 4.6" 'HD Reality Display' and Android 4.1. It's not the most awe-inspiring spec list we've seen, but certainly good enough to stand next to other highish-end handsets.

manuganu

When I was a kid, I always dreamed of having dark hair, wearing a cow skull on my head, and running through a magical land of swinging hammers, random cliffs, floating platforms of land, other areas of extreme peril. Alas, I'm bald, have no bulls to speak of, and this magical land I've dreamed of for so long is nowhere to be found. Just when I thought my lifelong dream was a bust, we stumbled across MANUGANU.

Well, that was fast. Earlier today we told you about Google Keep, a note-taking app Google was working on. Now, it seems the desktop version of the site is up and running!

And it's gone. Google Keep is now 404ing. Probably another victim of a spring cleaning. These Google products just don't last as long as they used to!

Well, enjoy the screenshots!

Google Keep works a lot like Google Notebook used to: There's a list of notes, and you can color-code them, save pictures, and make checklists.

On last week's podcast, the question "HTC One or Galaxy S4?" came up, and was posed to each host. We all made our call, and now it's your turn. While I know many of you have no interest in either of these phones, today's question is not what your ideal phone is, but given a choice between them - which would you get? And no, 'neither' is not an option.

Each phone has its advantages and disadvantages - that's clear.

Earlier this week, Google killed a beloved service of theirs, but now it looks like they might be bringing another one back from the dead in the form of a new note-taking service called "Google Keep." Remember Google Notebook? It's back!

We've got pictures! Google Keep's website went live for a short while and we took a bunch of screenshots. Check them out.

1E100 dug through the Google Drive website's source code and discovered the unreleased app.

We've all been there – it's dark, you drop something, need a little help finding your keys, or simply want to know what you just stepped in. Naturally, you reach in your pocket, pull out your phone, and hit the power button. The screen instantly becomes your flashlight. Of course, there are plenty of apps that can also toggle the camera's LED flash, which makes a much better flashlight than the display.

If you were a kid during the 80s, or you just happen to spend too much time watching Cartoon Network, then you've seen claymation - the art of stop-motion video with molded clay and any other odd objects laying around the house. It's time to recall those days with Plasticine Jungle and Plasticine Ocean by developer Kolesov & Mikhaylov. These live wallpapers bring us back to our youth with brightly colored shapes and uncanny textures.

nextlauncher

A few days ago, GO released a 36-hour trial version of its over-the-top launcher, Next. This gives users a chance to experience all the 3D animations, flips, twist, and bends that come along with the $16 launcher, all without paying a dime. If your 36 hours are up and you simply cannot live without Next Launcher another day (unlikely), the GO Launcher team just put the full version on sale for the weekend.
