Pebble Announces $249 Pebble Time Round, A Thin, Round Pebble With Color Display And... 2 Days Of Battery Life

Smartwatches are bulky - there's no getting around that. Even Apple, the very embodiment of tech's obsession with downsizing the z-axis of your products at all costs, can't make a thin smartwatch. Today, Pebble has decided that it can make a thin smartwatch, and that this watch can be round* (*with a massive, enormous bezel) and apparently that most of the company's claim to fame in smartwatches - battery life - really isn't super important after all. Meet the Pebble Time Round. It's a round Pebble Time that's just 7.5mm thin and, according to Pebble, will last 2 days on a charge.

Raywar: Pandemonium Is A Twin Stick Shooter That Does Its Very Best To Make Your Eyeballs Explode

Remember that brief period in the late 90s and early 2000s when every other console game came with a seizure warning? The developers of Raywar: Pandemonium might want to consider adding one to their game. Twin-stick shooters with "retro" graphic elements have begun to blend together since Geometry Wars typified the sub-genre, but this entry pushes the visual elements over the top with absolutely insane levels of lighting effects, on-screen enemies and pickups, and shiny, shiny explosions. Check out the video below, which hardly does the game justice.

You Can Now Earn Money Taking Selfies — Time To Brush Up On Your Duck Faces, Fake Smiles, And Rock On Signs

I've been taking "selfies" for more than a decade. Back in 2005, we just called them photos, except we pointed the camera at ourselves instead of the world, and we felt a small but appropriate surge of vanity doing so. It was just fun. Then selfies became a thing, and now you can't take a photo of yourself without feeling like a self-centered 12 year old teenager bragging about his/her latest hairdo on Instagram. It's impossible to walk down the streets of some cities without seeing someone trying to lend you a selfie stick for a few bucks, or to go to a restaurant or pub without seeing a group of friends taking selfies together, or really to engage in any activity without having someone suggest taking a selfie...

There are many things frequent travelers hate, like the long queues at the airports, the jet-lag, and the countless little annoyances in logistics when going from one country or state to another. Waiting at the hotel front desk when they're just about ready to collapse after a long trip isn't a positive feeling either. But they may not have to anymore, that is if they're staying at a Hilton hotel and they're HHonors members (membership is free apparently).

The app announced last month a new "Digital Key" feature. At the time, the option was limited to the iOS application, but it has now made its way to its Android counterpart.
