As was previously rumored, Shopping Express is expanding to new cities and it's bringing a new name and pricing structure along with it. The OnePlus One has had its share of bugs, but there has been one issue that effectively breaks the phone without the owner being even accidentally at fault. Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has hired another former Google employee to help the company with its big ambitions. This time around, according to The Wall Street Journal, it has picked up Jai Mani, who will serve as lead product manager in India. The ex-Googler reportedly worked as a strategy and analytics associate for Google Play.
This comes little more than a year after Xiaomi brought on Hugo Barra, Google's former Vice President of Android Product Management, to serve as its VP of Global Operations. Read More
T-Mobile will continue to go it alone in the wilds of the US wireless industry after French telecom Iliad has announced it is dropping plans to buy the carrier from parent company Deutsche Telekom. Iliad's leadership had imposed a deadline of mid-October to decide whether to increase its previously rejected offer of $15 billion for a 56.6% stake in the Uncarrier. That's not happening, so the dream is dead.
Iliad first announced the offer as Sprint was reportedly in the late stages of acquisition talks with T-Mobile. Read More
