Rockstar's Bully: Anniversary Edition now available for Android, costs $6.99 on the Play Store

Rockstar's 'Bully' was originally released in 2006 for the PlayStation 2, centered around 15 year-old Jimmy Hopkins as he tries to rise through the ranks of the corrupt Bullworth Academy prep school. It generally received good reviews, and two years later, the Scholarship Edition was released for the Wii, Xbox 360, and PC.

Ten years after the game's original release, Rockstar has partnered with War Drum Studios to release Bully: Anniversary Edition for Android and iOS. War Drum Studios has been responsible for every Rockstar mobile port, including the Grand Theft Auto titles, so you know this isn't a shoddy re-release.

Google, Samsung, HTC, Oculus, Sony, and Acer form the Global Virtual Reality Association, the first VR special interest group

Perhaps you haven't noticed yet, but virtual reality is kind of a big deal. Samsung has holiday-themed ads running on primetime TV and sports, the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift are breaking new ground in a stale gaming industry, and even Google is pushing its new Daydream platform hard. The powers that be think there's money to be made, and that means they're willing to work together (at least to some degree) in pursuit of it. Hence the creation of the Global Virtual Reality Association, announced by Samsung on its corporate blog.

MLB.com makes an extremely disorienting Daydream VR version of Home Run Derby

For the uninitiated, the Home Run Derby is an annual competition for Major League Baseball players celebrating the sport's most explosive play. The MLB already publishes an official game based on the yearly contest, a full 3D affair with licensed player likenesses and $100 in-app purchases, for Android phones and tablets. But it looks like they've decided to join the early ranks of developers officially supporting the Daydream VR system.

[Deal Alert] Buy a 1TB Dropbox Pro subscription at 40% off, get a free $25 Dell gift card

Most of the deals we've dug up for Black Friday have been for phones and other electronics - tangible goods. For those looking for something a little less corporeal, there's currently a very rare discount available on Dropbox storage. Dell's online storefront has a year of Dropbox Pro storage going for $59.99, which is $40 less than the usual charge for one terabyte of backup space. If that's not enough to get your attention, Dell will throw in $25 in gift card credit for its store for free.

YouTube now supports HDR videos, playback only on Chromecast Ultra for now

High Dynamic Range, or HDR for short, is quickly gaining ground in the media industry. In a nutshell, HDR videos have a much higher contrast and color range than standard video content - essentially making the video more true to real life. Google's Chromecast Ultra, the PlayStation 4, Xbox One S, some Blu-ray players, and various other devices all support the playback of HDR video.

Report: Google reaches agreement with CBS for 'Unplugged' web TV service - Fox and Disney may follow

The future of cable cutting, getting rid of expensive cable or satellite television service in favor or more economical web subscriptions, is murky. Currently users need to choose between competing libraries on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and other big-name streamers, or negate some of the savings of cable cutting by subscribing to multiple services. Some newer offerings like SlingTV and PlayStation Vue are bridging the gap, and it looks like Google wants to join them, according to the latest report from the Wall Street Journal.
