Google's rolling out new products, services, and programs for Indonesia, including YouTube Go, Google Assistant, and Primer lessons

Today Google had a huge announcement for Indonesia, in which it detailed six new products for the nation that are arriving now or coming soon, as well as milestones and new initiatives for residents of the country. Among the more exciting announcements are support for the Google Assistant in Bahasa Indonesia, the rollout of Google Stations for expanded WiFi internet access, YouTube Go for the country, Waze support for the capital's odd-even license plate policy, and expansion and milestones for Google's programs in the area.

Inability to add contacts to home screen in Oreo fixed with Google Contacts v2.1.3 [APK Download]

Perhaps you like to put contact shortcuts on your home screen. Well, Android 8.0 doesn't. If you try to add a contact shortcut via the widget menu, the home screen just refreshes itself without adding the icon. Boo. There's now a new version of the Contacts app that fixes that. Yay.

Yotaphone 3 officially announced with 5.5" AMOLED front panel, 5.2" E-Ink rear screen, and SD625

We learned earlier in the year that Yota's third generation dual-screen device would be announced around this time, and sure enough, the Yotaphone 3 is now official. The last two phones had a certain charm to them, especially the Yotaphone 2, and the novel E-Ink rear display that sets Yota's devices apart is unsurprisingly still the main attraction. The most noticeable change is that the phone has followed the general trend and increased in screen size. Here we have a 5.5" 1080p AMOLED display on the front and a 5.2" 720p E-Ink panel on the rear.
