In May of last year, Blu released the Life Pure XL, its first large-screen device made to compete with some of the affordable flagships of the time (like the OnePlus One). Today, the company has announced the Life Pure XL's successor, simply called the Pure XL. This new flagship model is the most powerful phone Blu has ever produced, and it comes in at a price that makes it hard to ignore.
Google Express is one of those services that sound awesome on paper, but many of us still don't really know because it's only available in seven major metros that you could probably guess. Except now it isn't. Now it's also available in six states spread across the Midwest: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
Google brought Express to Chicago roughly a year ago. Now the company is expanding the reach out to the surrounding area. It says this should open up the service to 25 million more people. Unfortunately, while Indianapolis and Milwaukee make the list, the cities of Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Detroit do not. Read More
We've seen mobile hotspots for cars before, but I don't think I've ever heard of one that uses the ODB-II communications port on your vehicle for power, freeing up that precious cigarette lighter for things like chargers. The ZTE Mobley is just that.

According to the report, the 10% being made redundant are "support staff" in back-office roles like finance, personnel, and public relations. Read More
There are some new OTA updates rolling out to Nexus devices today, but don't expect any big changes. T-Mobile has posted the update details for Nexus 4, 5, 6, and 7 LTE patches. They're all minor security and bug fix updates, but that's nothing to scoff at. Read More
A few weeks ago we told you about an upcoming update to the official app for discount retailer and occasional auction service eBay. It looks like the company is ready to roll out version 4.0, for both Android and iOS. Well, almost - though the company has officially announced the update, it seems they're dragging their heels in actually getting it to the Play Store. Our reliable readers have yet to upload an updated version to APK Mirror, so we're assuming that it simply isn't available at the moment. Read More
Looking for something to control absolutely everything in your entertainment center, plus your RF-enabled refrigerator? Then unfortunately you're going to have to cough up some dough. But if you hurry and head over to Amazon, you can do it for considerably less: the retailer is selling the Logitech Harmony Ultimate Remote for $199.99.
