Owners of the Sony Xperia L have something to celebrate today. No, it's not actually all of their birthdays on the same day, possibly because of a breach in the space-time continuum. TWRP is now officially available on the Sony Xperia L.

OnePlus Chooses Name For Its New ROM—OxygenOS, More Information Coming February 12th

OnePlus And Cyanogen Inc. ended their relationship on a sour note last year, leaving the former in a position to start producing its own software. After putting a team together, it began developing ROMs for the OnePlus One independently. Of course, these builds needed a name. So as the company is want to do, it held a contest. The winning name is, without further ado, OxygenOS.

BetterBatteryStats Updates To v2.0 With Material Look, Full Lollipop Support

The always-useful BetterBatteryStats has received a major update that brings both a new look and full functionality on Lollipop devices. The interface remains fairly minimalistic, but at the least could be described as Material-esque. No hamburger menus or anything like that, but you have the bare bones there.

As you can see, a dark theme is available as well. I'm not a big fan of how the dark background pairs with the vibrant green, but I know some of you really don't like white themes.

[WTF] Hey, Google And Asus, Where Are The Lollipop Updates For The Cellular Nexus 7s?

It has now been over two months since the Lollipop OTA updates for Nexus devices began rolling out en masse. Pandora, which had a very dated interface, was well overdue for some kind of reimagining. While Material Design fans are sure to be disappointed, there are several notable improvements and the overall look is much cleaner and modern.

App Shortcuts For Fire TV Is A Stupid-Simple Way To Launch Apps On Fire TV Or Fire Stick From Android

I love my Fire TV. In fact, it's probably the most-used set-top box in my house, and it's also the one that I keep in my home office for testing, watching basketball, and sometimes even playing games (not often). I sideloaded XBMC (Kodi) on it a while back, which made it even more useful. Of course, launching an app like XBMC on Fire TV is a legit pain in the tail.
