Bookmark Sync Returns To Opera Browser For Android In The Latest Update

Back in 2004 (or thereabouts), Opera was my go-to browser. I liked that it was available on both Windows and Linux, and it just seemed faster than Firefox to me at the time. That was of course long before mobile phones were what they are now - I was probably carrying an old Nokia bar phone and changing the faceplate every three days. Good times.

Another thing missing back in the dark days of the early 2000s was something Google really made happen with Chrome: cross-device/platform sync.

The HTC One E9 Will Reportedly Be A Phablet With A Quad HD 5.5-Inch Screen, 3GB RAM, And 8-Core MediaTek SoC

If the M9 reveal didn't impress you, HTC looks ready to start going after other segments of the market. Through a constellation of leaks and rumors, it seems quite clear that we will soon see a phone called the E9 by HTC that won't be a mere update to last year's E8. Instead, it will be a true phablet that appears nestled somewhere between the high end and mid-range. Here's what you came here for:

Sol Republic's Deck Bluetooth wireless speaker is a peculiar looking creation. Motorola is offering the Deck for $99.99, 50% off its usual price. Even better, Amazon has the product marked down to just $54.99.

Android 5.1 Includes New Carrier Provisioning API, Allows Carriers Easier Methods Of Setting Up Services On Devices They Don't Control

One of the more interesting behind-the-scenes additions in Android 5.1 is a new carrier provisioning API that provides functionality which likely benefits carriers and customers alike. Any time you join a carrier, you get services along with your account, whether it's Play Store billing, visual voicemail, premium subscription services billed to your account, or any number of other things. For as long as Android has existed, the methods used to provision these services on a customer's account have varied widely from carrier to carrier, and there was no standard way of doing it.
