In a series of upcoming updates to Google's Docs, Sheets, and Slides apps, users will be able to have easier access to one of the most basic editing capabilities: changing the file name. Whereas before you would only change the document's title by saving, it's accessible via hamburger menu now.

Slide the menu in from the right, tap on the area that says "TestDoc.docx" or whatever you're working with, and you'll see the dialog box on the far right that allows you to edit. Read More
Ever since Android added support for native screenshots way back in Ice Cream Sandwich, there's been a handy notification after the screenshot has been saved. In the new M preview the share button on that notification is joined by something else—a delete button. Fantastic.
We're playing around with the new Android M preview today, and it looks like there are several notable changes to the launcher (i.e. the Google app). The new app drawer is no longer broken up by letter and the widget picker has a fast scroll bar. If that's not good enough, you can view the whole launcher in landscape mode after toggling a setting. Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake offers more depth than most of the previous apps Google has given away for its free family-friendly App of the Week. This title comes to us from Cartoon Network, and it's a top-down adventure game reminiscent of Zelda.
Swords, forests, and monsters are par for the course in turn-based RPGs, but tinyBuild's Fearless Fantasy manages to include all of these things while still feeling fresh and original. After first launching on Steam for PCs and making its way over to iOS and the Amazon Appstore, the game has now made an appearance in the Play Store.
