Fire up the rumor mill, because with the annual IFA trade show just two months away, the leaks are already starting to roll in. Today's comes from Sammobile in the form of two new images relating to Samsung's upcoming Gear VR virtual reality headset.

The first image would seem to confirm the Gear VR branding (it appears to be a screenshot from a setup app), while the second may be a first-use tutorial.

Button-mashing beat 'em up games aren't super-common on mobile devices because there aren't really buttons to mash. Fightback makes it work by translating a flurry of taps and swipes into punches and kicks. Are there bad guys on the screen? Yes? Just tap all the things. It seemed to work pretty well on iOS, where Fightback was rather popular.

The Pushbullet folks crank new functionality into their nifty push notification app so often that it would almost be more newsworthy if they stopped, but until that day comes, here's another cool feature that we're happy to see in the works. The ability to copy and paste across Android and Windows machines recently made an appearance in the beta version of the app, and a screenshot found its way to Google+.

Quick, if you're on a desktop browser, open a new tab and head for Google Drive. You might just see a new interface for Google's document and storage service, first announced back at Google I/O. Drive is getting a makeover to make it more like navigating files in a desktop file manager, complete with thumbnail views for all items and keyboard modifiers that let you manage multiple files at once.

The newest snapshot build of CyanogenMod is rolling out now, and it's a bit of a jump from the last version. This is the first snapshot based on Android 4.4.4, and it brings a few new features. Now that the M builds are essentially the stable channel, it's probably time for CM users to get flashing.

AT&T is treating the G Watch like any other accessory online, which means you can potentially get a pretty good deal. See, AT&T has an ongoing deal offering 25% off if you buy three accessories. That brings the cost of the watch down to $171.75.

Sony is boasting its new Xperia C3 as the best smartphone for taking selfies thanks to its wide-angle 5MP front-facing "PROselfie" camera, soft LED flash, and a set of quirky apps. Hey, scoff all you want, but this is a big deal. Selfie is a real word now, and if I have to write about the subject seriously, the least you can do is read this with a straight face.

1080p? That's for suckers, and you're not a sucker, right? That's what I thought. You can leave 1080p in the dust by picking up the LG G3, which is now shipping overnight from AT&T. Not only that, you can get 50% off a G Watch, if you want one.

Games made specifically for Android Wear devices were almost inevitable. Despite the small size, there's a lot of potential for Wear integration for full-sized Android games - you could use your watch as a Star Trek-style alert system for an RPG, or as a fun secondary screen, like the Visual Memory Unit on the old Dreamcast. Even games limited to Wear itself could do a lot with simple taps or swipes.

If you're one of the few people who sprang for Verizon's pricey, LTE-enabled edition of the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, you may have noticed a software update in your notification bar today. The KOT49H.P905VVRUANE4 update isn't all that notable; most of the actual content comes from updates to a bunch of the bundled-in Amazon and Verizon apps like Kindle and VZ Navigator. But there are some bug fixes and a couple of security extras you might want to grab.
