Samsung Teases The Circular Gear S2 Smartwatch In 30-Second Video

We didn't cover Samsung's Gear S all that much. While the smartwatch may seem like just another Android-powered wrist-bound gadget from a manufacturer that has produced many, this one was different. It actually ran Tizen.

Pac-Man 256 Is Live In The Play Store With Tons Of Power Ups, Controller Support, And A Not-Terrible IAP Scheme

Just days after releasing a new gameplay teaser, Pac-Man 256 From Hipster Whale has hit the Play Store. This officially licensed take on Pac-Man is part classic arcade eating simulator and part endless runner, plus a delightful homage to the level 256 glitch of the original. It's free-to-play, but the in-app purchases actually seem very fair once you figure it all out.

LaCie And Seagate Announce Shutdown Of Wuala, A Secure Cloud Storage Service, And User Data Will Be Wiped Out In November

Wuala, an extra secure cloud storage service that we first talked about back in 2011, has announced its imminent shutdown. Originally created by Swiss researchers, Wuala was acquired by French hardware maker LaCie in 2009 as a means to take advantage of the growing interest in cloud solutions. After LaCie was acquired by Seagate, Wuala too fell under that corporate umbrella.

No explicit reasoning has been given for the shutdown, but it isn't hard to see that Wuala just hasn't taken off and may well have lost users in recent years. Not only do existing users have to move their data elsewhere, they need to do it quickly.
