Google Carrier Services moves to the Play Store, but it does absolutely nothing (for now)

Many device manufacturers, including Google, choose to update pre-installed applications through the Play Store. This way, individual apps can be updated without the need for an entire system software update. Another pre-installed app, simply called 'Carrier Services,' has been moved to the Play Store.

Pandora announces premium subscription that lets you choose your tracks

Pandora has been streaming music for longer than many of the top streaming services, but it's always gone about things differently. Pandora is based on radio stations rather than specific tracks. Today, Pandora is deploying a new version of its service that's more in-line with competing options. For $10 per month, you can pick songs instead of trusting that the radio station won't stink.

Three of these are down from $0.99, and one down from $4.49. The former includes Survival Online GO, where the aim is to survive in an open world against other players. Your character levels up and gains new abilities, weapons, and armour, leading him to become the best warrior.

[Update: ZS570KL] Asus pushes Android 7.0 to the ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS550KL)

Classic murder-mystery board game Clue released, in the Play Store, with a $4 price tag

Clue, or Cluedo if you played the board game outside of North America, has been around for almost 70 years. Like a lot of other classic board games, it's now been reimagined with a digital mobile release. But unlike some of those games, the developer Marmalade Game Studio seems intent on keeping the classic whodunit setup, instead of trying to cram the well-worn format into something more lucrative. It's available in the Play Store now for $3.99, blessedly skipping any in-app purchases.
