HTC hasn't been doing the best in recent years, even squandering an attempt to revitalize itself with the U Ultra. Still, the former Android king is trying to keep its phones updated, even some of its older ones. Previously, several international versions of the One M9 started to receive Nougat. The U.S. is quite a bit behind, it seems, but it looks like the T-Mobile variant is the first to get the update. Read More

Somewhat of a confusing release, Meganoid (2017) is different from the previous versions of Meganoid and Meganoid 2. Read More
The LG G6 was announced around three weeks ago, but as is typical with phone launches, we haven't heard much regarding availability aside from acknowledgement from all four major operators that they will be carrying the phone. Several carriers have now revealed details on their G6's pricing and availability. We'll continue to update this list as more info comes out. Read More
Technology leaks aren't uncommon in the first place, but pre-launch pictures and information regarding Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 plus in particular have been hugely abundant. The Huawei Watch 2 is a step backward - multiple steps, even - from the original, even if it does claw back some of that lost ground with new features. The Huawei Watch 2 adds NFC, GPS, LTE, and Android Wear 2.0 to its repertoire, which all sounds well and good. Alas, it all feels for naught when it comes down to the final product experience. According to a tip we just received, the latest Android Nougat beta for the Nexus 6P finally adds the much-demanded fingerprint swipe gesture for accessing the notification tray. The toggle can be found under the "Moves" area in the settings app.
To say the fingerprint scanner gesture drama has been a thing would be an understatement. First it wasn't happening, then it was possibly happening. Then, silence. After a while waiting, last month the Nexus 5X did get the feature as part of the initial 7.1.2 beta, but the Nexus 6P was left out. It appears the wait is over, at least if you're in the beta program. Read More
