Project Fi App Update Includes Cross-Device Account Management, Improved Roaming Experience, Visual Tweaks

As a recent (and mostly happy) convert to Google's Project Fi carrier experiment, I've taken up the task of covering Fi news for AP including updates to the Fi app, Google's super simple app for managing your account and keeping tabs on data use.

Today, the app got an update to E.1.3 that brings a few small improvements and one big one - cross-device account management. Basically, Fi users can now install the app on their other devices and manage their accounts from any of them, rather than being stuck to just the Nexus 6.

We didn't cover Samsung's Gear S all that much. While the smartwatch may seem like just another Android-powered wrist-bound gadget from a manufacturer that has produced many, this one was different. It actually ran Tizen.

Pac-Man 256 Is Live In The Play Store With Tons Of Power Ups, Controller Support, And A Not-Terrible IAP Scheme

Just days after releasing a new gameplay teaser, Pac-Man 256 From Hipster Whale has hit the Play Store. This officially licensed take on Pac-Man is part classic arcade eating simulator and part endless runner, plus a delightful homage to the level 256 glitch of the original. It's free-to-play, but the in-app purchases actually seem very fair once you figure it all out.

We like to keep you aware of great deals as we come across them, and oftentimes, these consist of discounted devices and external battery backs. After all, everyone likes saving money on gadgets, and I challenge you to name one time you lamented having an extra form of backup power at the bottom of your bag.

But this deal is different.
