Weekend poll: Do you regularly use VR?

2017 is supposed to be the year of VR. (Or was it 2016?) As such, I'm curious how many of you are doing your virtual duty to the tech trend overlords and engaging with this content. Mobile VR headsets are all the rage right now, with players coming out of the woodwork all over the place in an effort to get in on the ground floor of the VR revolution.

Except, I'm curious if you, bleeding-edge tech enthusiasts, actually even care about or use VR (or, have used it more than a handful of times after relegating your headset to an indefinite residence in the closet).

AccuWeather has released a Gear VR app, because why not

As Oculus and Samsung continue to look for more partners to develop Gear VR apps, apparently they thought a virtual reality weather app would be compelling. Or maybe this was actually AccuWeather's idea. Either way, AccuWeather has published an app for the Gear VR, titled 'Weather for Life.'

Google Maps v9.49 beta adds a manual parking location tracker, weather indicator for mass transit navigation, and more [APK Download + Teardown]

It's always good to see useful new features in the apps we use often, and Google Maps rarely fails to bring something new with every update. The latest bump to v9.49 is no different. This release adds a few new toys for users to enjoy.
