The Netflix app wasn't the only good thing that came out of the LG Revolution system dump posted earlier today by Android Spin - feast your eyes (and your ears) on 13 beautiful wallpapers ripped right out of the Revolution's entrails, together with 31 ringtones and 20 notification sounds.

Having looked and listened to the goodies, I must say - LG did a great job, especially with the last few wallpapers and the 08_Episode.ogg ringtone - for some reason, it's really stuck in my head now and will be making it to my EVO shortly.

Facebook for Android got updated today, bringing several new features to your Android social networking hub. The biggest addition is that you can now upload pictures directly to your friends' walls from your phone. You can also upload photos to Groups. Aside from that they added SSL for improved security, some additional photo uploading tweaks and various bug fixes.

You can check out the full changelog in the screenshot below, and head over to the Market to update.

A couple of super-sneaky members over at Howard Forums have leaked some photos of the upcoming Droid 3, and it's looking much thinner than its most recent predecessor. The Verizon phone, which has not yet been officially announced, popped up in three different pictures today.

As you can see below, the second sequel to Motorola's popular Droid has a thinner top piece to conceal the customary full QWERTY keyboard. Not much else is known about the phone at this point, but this could be shaping up to be a much more attractive offering than its ancestor in the Droid line.

Welcome to the weekly roundup of the best new Android applications, games, and live wallpapers that went live in the Market or were spotted by us in the previous week or so.

One thing I'd like to point out this week - the apps are just getting prettier and prettier. They are no longer those ugly ogre-like beasts we used to see so much, but polished, pretty flowers (I mean, muscle cars, beer, bench press, aww, it's too late now).

netflix

The APK for one of the most lusted-after Android apps, Netflix, leaked on to the Internet today. However, whether you can actually do anything with it is another question altogether (the answer to which is not entirely clear yet).

I was able to install the app on my EVO, and everything looked good up until the point where I actually wanted to watch a movie - and then... nothing. Most users have reported similar results, though at least one person claimed that it is fully functional, with a tweet "works on fascinate" (of course, anyone can say that on Twitter, so take it as you wish).

thunderbolt fishy

Just when we thought that news about the HTC Thunderbolt was going to die down now that the mystery of its long-anticipated launch has been solved, word comes that Best Buy will only be offering the LTE phone at the $249.99 price until March 20 -after which it will be $299.99. While the phone has generated a lot of buzz, it's hard not to view this price hike as Best Buy shooting themselves in the foot.

Rumors of a dual-core HTC device, codenamed the Pyramid, have been around since the beginning of February. Now, thanks to XDA.cn, we have some images to go with the rumors.

The site does mention some of the specs on this bad boy, like a 4.3" 540 x 960 qHD display, a 1.2GHz processor, 768MB of RAM, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front, but it seems like some other things have gotten lost in translation.

Amazon Appstore- Apps and Prices Leak

Well look what we have here: it appears that the site androidnews.de has stumbled upon some (apparently accidentally) posted apps from Amazon's upcoming Android app store. What were the site's daring investigative journalistic practices that led to the discovery? According to Frank from the site, "This morning, just for funzies, I entered http://www.amazon.com/apps in the address bar and found myself on a site with a horizontal slider. 48 apps were shown there.

Now that there is finally a firm release date for the HTC Thunderbolt (Thursday, March 17, in case you have been in a cave), we thought it would be fun to take a little poll to see just how many of you are willing to forgive the frustration you were put through by all of the delays, or if you have already moved on?

Let us know below where you stand on the HTC Thunderbolt.

The GO Dev Team, the people who brought you the popular apps GO SMS, GO Weather, and GO Launcher, are at it again, bringing you a contacts manager and dialer that is, quite frankly, stunning, both in functionality and aesthetics. It dropped into the market not 12 hours ago and is already getting very popular as well as garnering great reviews. Let's take a closer look, shall we?
