Up next in my series of reviews centering on Adobe's Touch Apps is Collage, a nifty addition to the Touch App family that allows users to make quick, yet sophisticated mood boards on the go. For those not familiar with the term, a "mood board" is essentially a concentrated collection of images, notes, and other media that convey the overall concept, or mood, of a project, from photo shoots to graphical designs, to interior decorating projects.

Siri competitors for Android are a dime a dozen, but the latest alternative Evi may have the winning combination of a voice recognition engine that actually understands what you say and what (we hope) appears to be a natural language processor that can figure out what you want.

Unlike a standard search engine which performs keyword searches, Evi aims to answer your query with a specific response. So, for example, if want to know what the capital of France is, you would ask Evi "what is the capital of France?" and Evi would respond "Paris".

Although iOS appears to currently be the platform of choice for developers, research firm Ovum suggests that Android is set to surpass it "in terms of importance to developers within the next 12 months".

Traditionally, the Apple App Store has generated higher revenues than the Android Market as users are more likely to download paid apps, thus luring developers. However the Android platform has been incredibly successful in the past few months and the number of app downloads have been significant, so it comes as no surprise that developers are bullish on Android's prospects in 2012.

It has been two weeks since Android 4.0.3 started rolling out to the Transformer Prime, which made it the first tablet to officially receive the update. With a new version of Android, be it incremental or not, comes new and improved GApps, most of which we've already taken a close look at.

In Android 4.0.3, however, a new Gmail feature has been uncovered by ComputerWorld that is noticeably missing in its 4.0.2 brother: experiments.

Samsung is chugging right along with their "Next Big Thing" campaign, and has released yet another spot. For those of you who don't know about Sammy's latest ad campaign, it's centered around the Samsung Galaxy S II, and pokes fun at iPhone fanatics standing in line to get their hands on the newest model. Basically, they're letting the consumer know that the next big thing is already here.

The Galaxy S II is one of the best phones on the market right now, and is the winner of our very first Android Police Andy Award for the Best Non-Nexus Phone Of 2011.

Do you find yourself constantly adjusting the volume of your phone's ringtone, or wishing that the annoying buzz of your phone's vibration could be toned down a little? Looking to solve all of your ringtone/vibration woes (while making sure you don't miss a call), Michael Pardo has introduced RingDimmer to the Android Market. The app adjusts vibration intensity and ringer volume based on ambient noise, ensuring that you never miss a call, and never have to be disrupted by an inappropriately loud ring tone.

Screencast Video Recorder has been a favorite of ours since its release, and has been featured in our own Top Android Apps Every Rooted User Should Know About and Best Of 2011 posts. Needless to say, we think this app is top notch, and I'm sure tons of other Android users would agree. Not only does it offer video capture with many features, but it has some pretty nice screenshot functionality as well.

The app allows users surprisingly sophisticated control of their desktop computer from anywhere with an internet (or 3G/4G) connection, providing access to PowerPoint and Keynote presentations, Microsoft Outlook, 3D games, full computer browsing, and various other software not available for Android.
