Pimp Your Screen is an iOS port that has received a complete makeover for its Android debut. While the original gives our Apple peers customizable app shelves and themed locked screens, our version comes decked out with a trunkful of decent wallpapers and nifty widgets. There's little here that we Android enthusiasts couldn't find elsewhere, but this is a nice tool to hand to a new or casual user who wants to pimp their ride without having to give it too much effort. If you're often juggling APK files for backups or sideloading, you might occasionally get things mixed up. Or you might want to ensure that nothing looks fishy. In either case, there is a nifty little Windows program called APK-Info that tells you all about an APK.
When you launch APK-Info it asks you to select an APK file. It extracts the package name, permissions, API level, version, and lets you open the Play Store page. Read More
For many users, memory cards are a very important part of mobile life. They provide extra storage when it's most crucial, allowing users to carry around thousands of songs, hundreds of TV shows, or dozens of movies to watch in their downtime. Depending on the model of phone in which they reside, they could also mean the difference between having enough space for Grand Theft Auto instead of Angry Birds.
