Users from abroad with the HTC Sensation better start hitting that 'Check update' button - according to this thread on the XDA forums, the Ice Cream Sandwich OTA update just started rolling out.

HTC is being unusually quiet about the update, so it's unclear on whether or not the update is official or an accidental push, but many of the XDA members have already received it. As such, there's no official changelog at the moment, but we do know that the OTA is bringing Android 4.0.3 and Sense 3.6 to the handset.

Google announced today on its Chrome Releases blog that Chrome for Android Beta has been updated to version 0.16.4301.233 (that's Chrome 16.0.912.77 for anyone counting).

The update primarily brings bug fixes, specifically addressing "issues in the compatibility check which prevented Chrome from starting up on some versions of Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich." In other words, whatever it is that broke compatibility with custom ROMs in Chrome's previous update seems to have been eliminated this time around.

Three UK, the mobile network provider in Britain popular for its unlimited data plans without fair usage policies, has rolled out two new plans for their smartphone customers today which promise fear-free mobile internet.

The first plan, Essential, starts at £15 and provides customers with a choice of 100, 300 or 500 minutes per month as well as a 250MB data allowance. The idea behind this tariff is to stop bill shock, as your data will be cut off automatically when you reach your monthly data quota.

April 15th is right around the corner. If you're not one of the early birds that files your before Spring, your procrastination is about to pay off. H&R block has introduced a new app for Android phones that allows you to enter W2 information into your tax return by taking a photo of the document. Taxes just got fun! Or, at least, a little less tedious.

Truth be told, it almost seems inevitable that filing taxes would become largely automated.

We've looked at a few different mobile stands in the past, but none quite like the CozyBot stand. You see, the CozyBot was made for specifically for Android users. Why? Because it is an Android. A little plastic Android that holds your phone/tablet/whatever, to be exact.

I spent the last couple of weeks hanging out with the little green guy, and here's what I think of him so far.

Review

Price: This stand is incredibly affordable - it's only £4.99 (about $7.73 USD).

Have you filed your taxes yet? Don't tell us that you're actually avoiding it - filing taxes is fun an easy! Okay, that's completely not true, but if you're looking for another use for your Android-powered tablet and want to get your taxes done quickly and efficiently while maximizing your refund (who doesn't want that?), then you need to check out Intuit's new Turbo Tax 2011 app.

Turbo Tax 2011 makes it easy to "tap, drag, and flick your way to your tax refund," all from your Android tablet.

To any hardcore modder, overclocking (or underclocking) your CPU is one of the best ways to get the most from your device. While some popular ROMs now have the ability to control your CPU baked in, many don't - and in the earlier days, virtually none did. Enter SetCPU - the de facto standard.

The app has long been a favorite, picking up 100,000-500,000 downloads at $1.99 and over 17,000 ratings for an average of 4.5 stars.

The GO team is, by now, pretty well known - and for good reason. They offer an unbelievable number of ways to overhaul your phone - such as GO SMS Pro, GO Contacts, and GO Keyboard - not to mention dozens of themes for all of their apps. But they are perhaps most well known for GO Launcher EX, and the tons of widgets (and more!) Now, they've released a new one to go with the Launcher: GO Weather Widget.

Adobe has unveiled Shadow, a new way for front-end web developers that aims to make designing and testing your website layouts on multiple screen sizes an absolute breeze. Shadow is actually a collection of tools consisting of:

Once you install the two desktop components on your computer and the mobile apps on all your development devices, you simply pair each one via a simple pin into a single network of sorts, and voila - say hello to synchronized browsing and refreshing in Chrome.

I have heard an absolute heap of unpleasantness about the rebranding of the Android Market today. Google Play is childish. It's unprofessional. It makes Google look less than serious about its content business. The logo is weird. The name is ambiguous - play what? It reminds people of Sony products. There are endless gripes and, let's face it, there always will be when a company rebrands a popular product.

Tomorrow, countless analysts and "experts" will weigh in on whether the move was a good one, hawking over Google's stock price like a cardiograph readout.
