If Logitech's price drop on their debut Google TV box this July wasn't enough, those looking to get their hands on the Revue without spending much money now have a pretty nice opportunity thanks to Tiger Direct. The online electronics dealer is offering refurbished units for a paltry $79.99, with free shipping included if you buy this weekend.

For those unaware, the Revue is Logitech's sole Google TV device, meant to bring the Google TV experience to your HDTV by offering easy access to web and television content, as well as a host of specially-developed apps meant for use with Google's television venture (including Netflix).

In a major "Surprise!" moment, Huawei has officially released what looks to be a demo build of Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) for the Honor (model number U8860). Details are incredibly light at the moment, since all we're really going on here is a product support page that's been Google Translated from Chinese to English and contains next to no information:

According to the poster at XDA, the posted update is actually just a "demo" (beta?) and not the final version.

It's a new day, and with it comes 10 new $0.10 apps on the Android Market. The Market promo page likely won't be updated for another few hours, but once again some internet sleuths on reddit have found today's sale apps in the wee hours of the morning:

Hit up the links below to check out the Market listing for each app.

If you've been checking out what the Android Market has to offer during it's "10 Billion" promotion, then you've probably had some difficulty in getting the apps you desire. Today, many users experienced error messages and cancelled orders as the market groaned trying to support the insane amount of traffic pouring in to snatch up some tasty 10 cent treats. Be grateful if you managed to grab the ones you wanted, because many were not so lucky.

google voice

While the Google Voice app has always been free, there was speculation that voice calls to the United States and Canada would begin to cost you money at the beginning of next year. However, new Google Voice users are being greeted by a pop-up window when they first use the Call Phone feature in Gmail that indicates otherwise.

See there? Calls to the U.S. and Canada are free in 2012. If there is anything I love more than free voice calling, it's another year of entirely free calling through Google Voice.

I sure love these Google Fridays - the Android team tends to release quite a few little updates to the web Market that make us feel warm on the inside, and it turns out this week is no exception.

You can now email developers with a question or a bug report right from the web Market - a feature previously available only in the device Market. For example:

The email url is a simple mailto: link, which should pop up your favorite email client (Gmail in my case).

Earlier today, Verizon officially announced the upcoming Droid XYBOARD's / XOOM 2's December 12th release date, but who really wants to wait this long just to grab all of its delicious wallpapers? Nobody, that's who, which is why all 11 of them are now looking for a new home, thanks to Droid Life.

Download them one by one (right click, then Save Link As) or grab the whole collection if you want - the choice is yours.

Update: Looks like YouMail has gotten to the bottom of the issue. Turns out that it was a bug in the code (a bug they were aware of, no less) and they didn't realize how severe the issue actually was. They've since corrected the issue (or are in the process of), and will be back in the Android Market shortly. For full details, check out the YouMail Blog.

YouMail, a popular (and free) visual voice mail solution, mysteriously disappeared from the Android Market today.

android-market-10-billion

In case you haven't heard, Google has been offering 10 apps a day for just $0.10 each as part of a 10 day promotion to celebrate the 10 billionth download from the Android Market. For end users, this promotion has been fantastic, as it offers quality paid apps for next to nothing. In fact, the promotion has also been great for the developers behind the promoted apps, who have seen hugely increased exposure, skyrocketing purchases, and higher spots in the "Top Paid" list.

Lenovo-ThinkPad-Tablet-3

There's a sea of similarly-spec'd Android 3.x tablets on the market right now, so the one with the best price (or best accessories, perhaps) can be the reigning champ on any given day. Today is the day for the Lenovo ThinkPad, which is currently available on eBay for $370 with free shipping.

What sets the ThinkPad Tablet apart from the competition and Lenovo's own IdeaPad K1 is the 99-level pressure-sensitive digitizer that works with a digital stylus/pen.
