If you picked up the recently released Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, then there's a good chance that you want some accessories to go along with it. Right now, if you use the coupon code GOOGLEIO2011 at Sammy's official online store, then you'll score a cool 30% off of all accessories. There is a catch, though - 60% of the currently released accessories are out of stock at the moment. However, if you're in the market to grab the stylus, vehicle charger, travel charger, or data cable - then you're in luck, as those are the only items currently in stock.

If you've been thinking about jumping from your current carrier to Sprint, then you may want to take advantage of this deal: one of the most popular Android phones of all time, the HTC EVO 4G, is now free with a new two-year agreement from Wirefly and Amazon Wireless. This is by far the lowest price that we've ever seen the EVO go for, and even though it's over a year old, it still rivals many of the phones currently being released.

Most users accustomed to unlimited data cringe upon hearing the words "tiered data plans" - but they aren't always bad. As our own David Ruddock pointed out, they don't affect most users - and they might even be cheaper for non-data hogs (aka 97% of customers).

However, in the case of the new tiered data plans Verizon Wireless is rumored to be implementing early next month, there's not much of an argument - they don't add any value whatsoever for VZW subscribers, and their sole raison d'être seems to be raping subscribers' wallets further still.

Update: It looks like Moto killed this deal. The coupon code no longer works, and the form has been removed.

If you bought a XOOM, the chances are that you need some accessories to go along with it. Motorola sees that need (and wants to make money), so until June 26, 2011, if you fill out this form, then you'll receive a coupon good for 50% off XOOM accessories at the Motorola store.

If you've been patiently waiting to start renting movies on your XOOM Wi-Fi, then your moment has arrived. According to this tweet from Motorola, you can now rent movies via the Android Market - granted you're not rooted, of course. It looks like the Movies tab still isn't appearing directly in the Android Market, but all you need to do is download and install the official Videos app from Google and you'll be ready to rent and watch all the movies you can handle.

So it's true: the reason we haven't seen any 7-inch Honeycomb tablets thus far is that Android 3.0 just doesn't fit well on screens of that size. This has been our pet theory for some time now, but this morning, Huawei came right out and confirmed it with the announcement of their Android 3.2-running MediaPad.

We know you'll want to know all about the new flavor of Honeycomb, but at the moment all we know is that, unlike Android 3.1, the version that runs on most Android tablets, 3.2 will support 7-inch displays.

We first told you back in March that Sony would be bringing Gingerbread to non-carrier-branded Xperia X10 units, with a late Q2/early Q3 arrival. With the end of Q2 quickly approaching, Sony posted a new entry on its Product Blog this morning stating that "the current plan is [to] start the roll-out [at] the beginning of August," which hits the early Q3 target date right on the head.

This update will include the same camera app that is found in the Éclair version (this has apparently been a pretty big issue amongst X10 owners), as well as a lot of features found on the newer Xperia phones - like Facebook inside Xperia, the updated UI with pinch-to-overview, and an integrated EQ in the music player.

Gaming on Android has been accelerating at the same mind-numbing speed as Android hardware, and we have quickly gone from having a limited number of decent titles to having more good games than we can track. In some cases, these games stand out for their amazing new gameplay; in others, they stand out for their high level of polish. Stardunk is one of the latter.

There have been several Android games that let you play a quick game of basketball, essentially just choosing an angle and power, and letting the ball fly.

P3Droid of MyDroidWorld has scored an early (debug) Gingerbread build for the Samsung Fascinate, and it's apparently quite polished. So far P3 and Justin (of AndIRC) are the only two to have laid hands on the build, but the issues they have found are that Tetris force closes, Google Maps isn't pre-installed, and some market apps don't show. Otherwise, they say it's a very solid build. P3 has provided a quick (37 second) video preview:

Justin was also kind enough to snap a few quick photos:
