SEGA's House Of The Dead Overkill: The Lost Reels Hits The Play Store, Is The Most Fun You Can Have Shooting Undead Strippers

The original House of the Dead (and its sequels) is one of my absolute favorite arcade shooters of all time. And House of the Dead: Overkill brought a whole new experience to the franchise, with more dynamic characters and full-on adult content (we're talkin' drug use, strippers, and more f-bombs than Pulp Fiction can shake a stick at). Needless to say, it's a fantastic rail shooter.

For those who have longed for more HotD action, Sega just pushed Overkill: The Lost Reels to the Play Store.

For those among you who happen to love QWERTYs and are on Sprint, there's a chance you're holding a Motorola Photon Q in your hand right now. And if that's the case, you should probably head into the Settings menu and check for updates – Jelly Bean is coming your way. Get excited.

T-Mobile's HTC One S Finally Getting Jelly Bean (Build 3.14.531.11 710RD) By Way Of A Hefty 675MB OTA

As Jelly Bean started hitting One Xs across the US, it's as if we could hear the cry of all One S units in unison. Why had they been forgotten? Lost and alone, One Ss across the country felt unloved and worthless. "Ice Cream Sandwich was last year's OS – I just want to be the best I can be" said one unit we had a chance to speak with.

But there's a light at the end of the tunnel for these once highly-regarded handsets.

Exclusive First Look: AirDroid Version 2 Headed For The Play Store Today - Here's What You'll Find Inside

Even in its current and somewhat dated form, AirDroid is easily one of the best apps on the Google Play Store. The sheer flexibility and polish of the remote access tool has made it one of the first things I install on any new device. The original AirDroid is still great, but for the last few months the development team at Sand Studio has been beta testing AirDroid version 2, with a ton of new features added to its original toolset.

Verizon Details New Rezound OTA (Build 4.05.605.14 710RD), Brings Global Roaming And Bunch Of Stuff You Probably Don't Care About

Hey guys, I know that when you hear "Rezound" and "OTA" in the same sentence your first thought is probably "Jelly Bean!" Hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but that's not the case. It's just an update that enables global roaming and does a lot of other petty stuff.

AOL's Moviefone Gets A Major Update to v2.0, Brings An All New UI

Allow me to be blunt for a moment: AOL's Moviefone was in desperate need of a makeover. Sure, back in the day the styling was appropriate – but now we want Holo. Everywhere.

Good news: the most recent update to Moviefone ditches the old tabbed-style interface for a much nicer-looking Holo-esque interface and dark color scheme. It really is quite nice looking – especially in comparison to the former version:

[For Developers] Samsung Releases Chord SDK For Easier Peer-To-Peer Connections

Few things attract new users to an app more than the ability to interact with other people; gamers demand multi-player and socialites want instant photo sharing. To ease the burden of exchanging data fluidly, Samsung has released its new Chord SDK to make local peer-to-peer and group communication much easier for developers with little or no networking knowledge. It exposes features similar to Samsung's AllShare SDK, but makes it possible to broadcast data and share files with several devices at once.

Verizon's Galaxy S4 Pre-Orders Start Today, Devices Begin Shipping 'By May 30th'

While Galaxy S4 pre-orders are already well underway for most other carriers, Verizon joins the party today – fashionably late as usual. You can get the 16GB version of Samsung's newest flagship on the country's largest provider of LTE for $200 – but you'll have to wait until May 30th to actually get the device in your hands. That's basically a full month later than most other carriers. Par for the course in Verizonland, though.

Time To Suit Up: Official Iron Man 3 Game From Gameloft Hits Google Play

I had a revelation last year: when it comes to my favorite superheroes, I'm a big fan of the "normal" guys who just have lots of money and gadgets. That's not to say that Wolverine, Thor, and the like aren't complete and total badasses, but there's just something to be said for millionaire philanthropists looking for a bit of vigilante justice.

For those who may be outside the super hero loop (way outside of it), I'm referring to Batman and Iron Man.

CyanogenMod To Add Time-Delayed and Voice-Activated Photo Capture Modes

Show of hands, who uses CyanogenMod? Oh, you do? I've got some good news: your camera is about to become a little more interested in what you have to say. A few hours ago, CyanogenMod announced that the included camera app will integrate a voice-activated shutter mode. Judging by one of the pictures, a new time-delayed mode will be part of the package, as well. Take a look:

As you can tell, a few different words can be used to activate the shutter, currently Cid, Whiskey, and Cheese.
