HTC Zoe 2.0 Lets You Create Videos On Your Phone Without Uploading First, Expands Length To 3 Minutes, And More

Zoes are little video highlights that are similar to GIFs but tend to be longer, so don't call them that. The functionality launched as an HTC exclusive back in the days of the original HTC One. Then things opened up to other devices as the manufacturer expanded Zoe into a social network of sorts. Along the way some things changed, like the ability to create Zoes locally.

Well, Zoe 2.0 is now available in the Play Store, and it lets you create things on your device rather than using the cloud again. But, and this is a pretty decent but, you can only create Zoes locally on HTC devices.

When you get a text message in Google Messenger, you don't have to open the app to initiate a reply. You just tap the buttons that appear in the notification. This capability appeared years sooner in apps like Gmail, which allowed you to reply, archive, and delete messages.

[Deal Alert] SanDisk's Gargantuan 200GB MicroSD Card Drops Another $20, Now Costs $200 On Amazon

This is a deal alert, but only in the sense that the 200GB SanDisk microSD card has hit its lowest price yet. Instead of $220, it now goes for $200. That is less money than you would have spent two weeks ago for the same product.

That said, microSD cards in general aren't that expensive. You could get a 128GB card for $60. On a per-gigabyte basis, paying over three times as much for less than twice the data isn't really saving money.

So why splurge for the 200GB card? Well, it's convenient not to have to swap out memory, especially when the process involves taking off the back.

We've received information from a reliable source detailing basic specifications for the upcoming 5.2" Nexus phone being produced by LG. First things first: we don't even know if Nexus 5 is the name. And because it's probably the most-wanted piece of information: we don't know excactly how much it will cost, other than to say it's likely it will be at a sub-flagship level. Does that mean $300? $400? $500? We really don't know, so your guess is as good as ours here.

Getting back to the major specifications, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808 will be powering the whole show, and that's no real surprise - the 808 has been consistently rumored to feature in one of the two alleged upcoming Nexus phones.
