After the infamous attempted AT&T acquisition of T-Mobile (also known as the biggest failure in telecom in 2011), the latter has apparently been working on restoring its image in the eyes of consumers with a complete brand re-launch, due this fall. The first step - a new Carly. We know the old Carly in a magenta dress showing off her long legs, but the new Carly is going to turn into this bad-ass Ducati rider.

Do you remember the small anticlimactic device dubbed the LG Optimus Elite that we told you about a few weeks ago? Well, Sprint and LG just made this little guy official. Here's a look at the official spec sheet:

  • 3.5-inch display
  • 800Mhz processor
  • 5MP rear shooter
  • NFC
  • Android 2.3

This thing may have been "Elite" two years ago.

With specs like that, you probably expect this device to be free, eh?

When you want to totally reinvent yourself, a new look is definitely a good place to start. If you really want to say "hey, this is a new me!" then a name change can convey that message pretty well. I guess Read It Later wasn't happy with where it was in the hard knock life of an app in the Google Play Store, because it recently went under the knife to get a totally new interface, new features, as well as a new name.

By now, you should've heard about the Zeemote Bluetooth Gaming Controller. We only gave away a thousand of them a couple weeks ago, after all. We've started to receive ours here at the Android Police Station, so we thought it was an appropriate time to take a look at the device (as well as provide you with some games to cut your teeth on).

It would not be wrong to make a comparison to the Wii nunchuk attachment.

Perhaps one of the best games on this list, Running Fred is a game we've featured before.

How's this for amazing? You see a piece of sheet music, but you can't read it because you're a plebian, or perhaps you can read it but you want to hear it. SnapNPlay is an app that lets you take a picture of a line of sheet music and then plays back the notes on the page. This is amazing.

The app itself looks a little rough around the edges right now, but the concept is wonderful.

Have you ever wished that you could cram just a few more movies, songs, or other files onto your device? Well, now is your chance – Amazon is currently offering SanDisk's Class 4 32GB microSD card for just $22.89, a ~$68 drop from its list price (and perhaps its cheapest price to date). This deal is even better than the one we saw on a comparable Transcend microSD card last month, especially when taking into account the considerable (and well-deserved clout) SanDisk's brand carries.

There's not much of a story behind Demolition Inc. on Android. Mike the UFO demolition man, er - alien, has orders to take out one city after the next, and you get to control all the chaos. This game starts out very strong, with cars careening around the road and knocking over buildings. A strong opening can't carry a game all the way to the finish line, though. While Demolition Inc.

Rumors about the mythical Google Drive have been ramping up lately. The rumored Google Drive is gunning for Dropbox with universal storage and sync. The Next Web is reporting that the service may launch as early as next week, giving users an initial 5GB of storage space that will sync between Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS devices. Pretty sweet!

Earlier rumors suggest an early April release which we're pretty well past now, but with the intensity rumors have been milling about lately, it would surprise us if it wasn't going to drop soon.
