Android N Dev Preview 2 Merges Downloads And Files, Lets You Install APKs From The File Explorer But Causes Various Other Issues

I'll be honest here. We don't know what's exactly happening with the Android N Dev Preview 2's Downloads and Files situation. There are lots of nitty gritty changes happening and we obviously can't tell if these are forgotten missteps in this release or if this is the way things will be from now on. I've been going back and forth between each screenshot of Android N Dev Preview 1 and its equivalent on Dev Preview 2 trying to understand the rationale behind some of these changes, but I haven't made sense of it all.

Here is what we know though and I guarantee that it's confusing, so I'll try to make it as clear as possible and hope you can follow along.

The LG G Vista 2 is a large phone for AT&T customers who don't quite want to spend flagship money. At $348.99, the price isn't quite low-end, and neither are the specs. You get a 5.7-inch 1080p screen, a 13MP camera, and a stylus.

Google & Microsoft Mutually Agree To Stop Tattling On Each Other To Regulators

Google and Microsoft, while not outright enemies, have been engaged in a number of public slap-fights over the years. After all: they're competitors, and Google competes with Microsoft in three areas where the company's fortunes have sharply declined (smartphones, the browser wars) or never really got off the ground to begin with (search).

Microsoft has even been engaged in lawsuits against Android and, under threat of legal action, extracted (and may continue to extract) royalties from companies that make Android devices. Microsoft also helped lead the charge in what was likely the impetus that eventually caused the European Commission to file antitrust charges against Google last week.

Lenovo's Zuk Z2 Pro Packs A Snapdragon 820, 6GB Of RAM, A USB Type-C Port, And More For The Chinese Market

Lenovo has a lot of things going on these days as it continues to make its Lenovo-branded devices while simultaneously digesting the corpse of Motorola. It also has other sub-brands like Zuk. The latest device in that family was just announced in China, and it definitely looks good on paper with flagship specs and a reasonable price.

Five Things I Love About The Galaxy S7 & S7 edge

The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are easy to hold up on paper as the best smartphones of 2016 - mostly because they'll likely be the best-selling models (well, next to the iPhone). But what about them makes them actually worth owning? Is Samsung's latest smartphone duo basically just a gussied-up retread of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge+, or is there more to it than that? I think there is. Here are five things I love about the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. (Don't forget to check out our full review right here.)

One phone, two sizes

So often we are asked to either buy a "mainstream" Android smartphone or wait for the separate "phablet" launches of devices that often occur later in the year.
