[New Game] AlertEgo: DreamWalker Is Basically What I Imagine Mario Would Look Like After Too Many Mushrooms

Looking for a platformer that'll bend your brain a bit? AlterEgo: DreamWalker is the 8-bit-on-acid sequel to AlterEgo, and basically just builds on its predecessor. More levels, arguably trippier visuals, and the same switch-up platforming action of the original. The game mechanic, by the way, is simple, but fairly novel: you move your character around the platform world, but on the opposite side in a mirrored position as an 'AlterEgo' (the ghost-looking thingy).

PSA: Weird Glitch Caused A Bunch Of Disney Games To Temporarily Appear Free On The Play Store, Prices Back To Normal Now

Earlier this morning, something strange happened. A handful of paid Disney games – including Where's My Water?, Temple Run: Brave, and Wreck-it Ralph, among others – suddenly showed up as free in the Play Store. Naturally, stories started popping up in the Android world that a bunch of fairly popular games were suddenly available without charge for no apparent reason. Perhaps Disney decided that it was time to give some titles away – but that didn't make much sense, as the "lite" versions of most titles were still present alongside their formerly-paid counterparts.

Deflecticon Sets The Example For Good Guy Devs Everywhere, Makes Game Free After It Can't Support It Anymore

We've enjoyed Deflecticon, the 3D variant on the classic Pong game with some fantastic graphics and totally warped perspective. In a sad turn of events, though, the developers have stated that they will no longer be able to support the game. Given this situation, they're making it available entirely for free in an as-is state. Pretty cool, devs!

While obviously we wouldn't expect this of everyone, it is nice to see one publisher be up front about the fact that no more updates will be coming, so if something doesn't work it will not work forever.

After a brief soft launch* in the Great White North, the classic Worms 2: Armageddon has expanded its Play Store presence to most countries (so far as we can tell, at least). It's $5 to get your turn-based explosion fix on, and early reviews of the game on the Play Store look promising. 30 single player missions are included, and there's even online multiplayer (as well as local hot seat mode).

File managers are a dime a dozen on Android. You can go the Play Store right now, search for "file manager", and immediately be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of options you're presented with. In this case, it's GeekSoft's File Expert HD, a newly redesigned take on the company's File Expert app.

Official Imgur App Hits Google Play – Available Exclusively In Australia For Now

Everyone's favorite image hosting site has just made its way into the Play Store. Of course I'm referring to Imgur, "the simple image sharer." Unfortunately, the app is georestricted to Australia during its beta period, so those of us in the rest of the world will have to wait a bit to get our hands on it.

Those who can use it, however, will be able to browse through Imgur's content, comment and vote on images, upload directly from their device, manager their account, and more.

Samsung Announces US Availability Of The Wi-Fi Galaxy Note 8.0, Will Be Hitting Store Shelves April 11th For $400

In a world full of Galaxy devices, some are great, some are good, and some make you scratch your head as to why they even exist in the first place. Among those considered by most to be good (or even great), we have the Note series. It all started with an oversized phone set to change the way people use their mobile devices. And it did just that – soon after it was followed by a bigger, better successor and a 10-inch tablet wearing the same name.
