Back in July, popular game developer Kairosoft released a new game called Oh! Edo Towns. Much to the surprise of Kairosoft-lovers, however, it was region locked to Japan.

Aside from some FCC filings, the Motorola XT907 has been a unknown quantity as we get closer to Moto's September 5th Verizon event. Now the details are in the open, and it's looking like the device will be called the RAZR M 4G LTE (yeah, that's a mouthful). This phone will be a small but welcome bump up from the current generation RAZR devices, but it's no RAZR HD.
On the hardware side, the new RAZR phone will be running on a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960.
According to P3droid, a number of Motorola devices running Android 4.0+ have been imbued with a new feature you might not have noticed: a visual root checker. It's present on the RAZR, RAZR MAXX, DROID 4, and test builds of the Bionic. It operates rather simply. Once a phone is rooted, somewhere in permanent memory, a status change is written that displays in the phone's recovery menu.
One of the most appealing aspects of owning a tablet from ASUS' Transformer line is the optional keyboard dock. It turns the tablet into an Android-powered netbook of sorts, making note taking, replying to emails, and other general productivity-based things much easier. The included battery also boosts usable time by up to four+ hours on most models, making the dock even more useful.
The main problem with the keyboard accessory, however, is the price tag; after spending $400+ on a new tablet, many users don't want to shell out the extra $150 to add the dock.
"Unique" is the name of the game with the Archos 101 XS. Just about every design decision goes against the status quo. Most tablets are made out of aluminum or plastic, but Archos went with stainless steel and a plastic rim. It's a tablet-laptop hybrid, but there's no hinge, everything is held together with a kickstand and some magnets. The included keyboard dock also doubles as a magnetic cover. At a time when some Android OEMs are
accused found guilty of doing little more than firing up a photocopier, some out-of-the-box thinking is very much appreciated.
While the name Pantech may not bring about thoughts of high-end superphones right now, it looks like the company may be about to change that with an upcoming P9090 "Magnus."
