The Galaxy Mega 6.3 was announced alongside its smaller sibling, the Mega 5.8, early last month. Given their enormity and relatively middling specifications, we didn't expect to see the monster handsets come stateside. Now, it seems like at least one of them will, and it's the Mega 6.3.
A recent Bluetooth SIG filing for model SPH-L600 - a designation with basically no known history - contains little information of use, other than confirming this is a Samsung handset with LTE bound for Sprint, as can be deduced from the model prefixes. Read More

I don't have kids, so it's entirely possible I don't "get it." By "it" I mean this freaky robot teddy bear that sends and receives text messages because 2005 still had one more horror movie on its to-do list that it forgot to tell us about. That's what MessagePetz are. They're teddy bears that have a cold, black screen with bright blue LEDs shoved into their torsos.
Of course, maybe I'm being too hard on this thing. Read More
Every now and then I stumble across a product that I'm instantly frustrated with. I was living my life perfectly contentedly, but now that I've seen this thing, I must have it. For the next ten minutes, that thing is the Keyprop phone stand that just secured funding on Kickstarter at the last moment. This is a tiny stand that works with all smartphones and is always there when you need it. Read More
Imgur's official Android app first hit the scene back in early-ish April, but was then geo-restricted to Australia (later expanded to UK and Canada) whilst in its beta period, leaving tens of thousands (possibly even millions) of angry image-searchers without, well, an app. Hell was raised, tempers flared, blah blah blah. The calm settled in once again, and life went back to normal for the bulk of us.
But now, everything changes. Read More
Grab your grains of salt, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for a little rumor-mongering. The quite-often-reliable @evleaks has once again turned on the taps, and out has flowed an impressive stream of detail about an upcoming HTC phone codenamed 'T6.' The existence of the device, just so you know, has also been corroborated by Pocket-lint in the past.
This device is allegedly HTC's first super-sized smartphone, with a display measuring up at a staggering 5.9 inches. Read More
There may be many ways to root an Android phone, but there's allegedly one root to rule them all. At this year's Black Hat USA 2013 conference, security researcher Jeff Forristal will detail how to gain system access and control on nearly any Android device. The bug was disclosed back in February, and Google presumably has worked to patch the vulnerability in the months since, so don't get too excited. Read More
I really want to live and eat more healthily, but lets be frank - it's rough. When it comes to exercising, staying disciplined is hard. When it comes to eating nutritious foods, ignorance is easy. For better or worse, that last excuse is going away now that Google is dragging nutrition information into search results. Ask your phone how many calories are in that bucket of popcorn, and let the guilt sink in. Read More
Everyone knows that adding a bit of money to a game makes it more interesting. Ubiquitous developer Glu Mobile is putting a lot of faith in that idea, and they plan to roll out a real-world gambling system to their games very soon, starting with Deer Hunter Reloaded. Glu will be using the Skillz platform, allowing players to bet small amounts of real money on the outcome of skill-based games, usually in some kind of tournament or winner-take-all round. Read More
We know there have been some specific questions floating around about the HTC One Nexus User Experience since it was announced earlier this morning, and we've been working to get those questions answered. HTC has been kind enough to answer some of the questions we found most pertinent, so here they are.
Will the stock Android camera experience replace the HTC camera app (and thus all the HTC features)?
The HTC One Special Edition contains the stock Android camera experience.
