Samsung hasn't actually rolled out any Pie updates, but some details have leaked out. That early peek at Pie also comes with a hint of our 5G future, according to our friends at XDA. Like most phones these days, Google's Pixel devices have a battery saver mode that automatically kicks in when your charge level reaches a certain threshold. You can change the percentage at which battery saver activates, but apparently Google can do that, too. A substantial number of Pixel owners are reporting their phones have suddenly switched to battery saver mode when almost fully charged.
LG's phone release cycle has been a bit weird in 2018. It re-released the V30 a few times, and the G7 ThinQ popped up in several variants. Now, it's time for the long-rumored V40 ThinQ to make its premiere. LG has sent out invites to an event on October 3rd with the phrase "Take 5." That would seem to confirm a five-camera phone.
