It was a rough day yesterday for fans of the video indexing app Mizuu. The app was pulled from Google Play after it was found to be in violation of Google's adult content guidelines. The developer has received word that the app won't be reinstated, so he's decided to open source it and host a free version so paying customers will still have access.

The Galaxy Gear didn't jumpstart Samsung's wearable ecosystem as it had hoped. In fact, it was such a disappointment that the company released a new version alongside the Galaxy S5 just a few months later. Motorola is set to have an event in just a few days on May 13th. Rumor has it the company will announce the Moto E, an even more affordable Android device targeted at developing markets.
