Sony's de facto flagship right now is the Xperia Z3+ (AKA the Xperia Z4 in some regions). It runs a Snapdragon 810 processor, which has gained a reputation for running hot. Sony's camera software isn't doing anything to prove that assumption wrong. Watch in the video below as the camera app crashes in a few seconds because of high temperatures.

Microsoft decided a while back to stop jealously guarding its popular productivity software and create proper apps for Android and iOS. The Office apps first came to Android for tablets only, but a phone preview started a few weeks ago. Now phone support is live for everyone, so go grab your free Word, PowerPoint, and Excel apps.

NVIDIA's cloud-based game streaming service has been available on SHIELD devices as a free beta for a long time now, but the subscription version of the service was supposed to be arriving around now. According to NVIDIA, that won't be happening for another month, so GRID continues to be free until July 31st. This applies to all three SHIELD devices.

There are a few big changes to the Google Play Music app in v6.0, but there are changes coming to your wearable too. There's a new Android Wear companion app in there (v2.0), and with it comes real download management for music synced to the watch. Finally!

The LG G4 is out now, so the G3 is technically yesterday's news. It's still a fine phone, though, and the price is getting more reasonable all the time. You can pick up a new unlocked one right now for 0 on eBay. It was most recently on sale for $340, and it's still around $400 on Amazon.

Samsung's promotion website has a new deal today that might tempt you to finally pull the trigger on that Galaxy S6 you've had your eye on. If you buy the 64GB Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge, Samsung will basically cover the difference between that and the 32GB with a $100 rebate. Samsung calls this the "Ultimate Upgrade." You have until the end of the day on July 5th to make your purchase.

Google is rolling out the new version of Play Music, and it's not even Wednesday yet. This update jumps from 5.9 to 6.0, and it makes some significant changes, not the least of which is the addition of ad-supported streaming radio. Oh, and those ads, there are a lot of them.

Google may not love SD cards anymore, but there are still plenty of users who do. If you're packing an SD card in your phone or tablet, there's a surprise coming your way. The v37 beta release of Facebook can be moved from the internal storage to the SD card, but there are some weird things going on with the implementation.

Google isn't taking the arrival of Apple Music lightly, it would seem. The company just announced a new free tier of Play Music in the US that provides access to ad-supported streaming radio. It looks to have all the same restrictions as other free streaming services, but you can't argue with the price.

As is the tradition, the latest Humble Bundle has been updated with more games to entice those on the fence to drop some cash. The bundle now includes Aby Escape, Orborun, and Jazz: Trump's Journey in addition to the eight games it had before. If you're still not sold, we might be able to help you out with a free bundle.

The official Dropbox app took its first step into a material world several weeks ago with the v2.6 update. That was followed by v2.7, but both of these were beta releases. Now it's bumped up to v3.0 and is rolling out to everyone via the Play Store.

A new week has dawned, and with it new sales in the Play Store. You still can't put games on sale for free, even though Google is doing that manually in the family section of the Play Store, but you can still get some good deals. For example, there are like a billion JRPGs on sale right now.

The T-Mobile Galaxy S6/S6Edge is (strangely) the only variant that currently has an official Android 5.1.1 build, and it turns out there's an interesting little bonus hiding inside. Samsung has added support for RAW photography to the Galaxy S6 in this update. The catch is that it's not supported in the stock app at this time.

Google has dropped a bunch of new Wear watch faces into the Play Store this morning in partnership with a variety of fashion designers and popular brands. Some of these you will have heard of and others probably not, but almost all of them are free.

You can buy 4K TVs for an almost reasonable price these days, but that's not true for Sony's new 4K TVs. These sets run Android TV and are razor thin at just 0.2-inches. However, they start at $2500 for a 55-inch set. They are now listed on Amazon and Best Buy, with pre-orders live on the former.

Intel has a lot of things going on these days, including a push for small form factor computers that run Intel hardware. The NUC (Next Unit of Computing) platform has been popular, and now there's the Compute Stick, which has been a little less popular. If you have either, you can now download the Intel Remote Keyboard app and control the system from your phone or tablet.

The ASUS Zenfone 2 has proven a popular device in its first few weeks on the market. It's reasonably priced and has good specs. As David pointed out in our review, the software is its biggest issue, so you know there are tons of users anxious to mod the crap out of it. Good news on that front—there's now a bootloader unlock method, and it's not terribly messy.

You may remember Google posted a new kind of app promotion last week. It offered a PBS Kids app that was usually $3 for free, which is kind of a big deal for the Play Store. Developers cannot currently make a listing free then go back to paid. It looks like Google is going to continue doing this for a bit, as there's a new free app of the week—Toca Hair Salon 2. This would be great if only the redemption process wasn't so jacked up.

There's a new beta of (almost) everyone's favorite gallery app available right now on APK Mirror. Yes, QuickPic v4.5 is ready for immediate installation on your device of choice, and it contains a nifty photo selection gesture similar to the one from the Google Photos app. Check it out.
