It's been about a year since the original Air Dock wireless car charger smashed its Indiegogo funding goal, and now v2.0 is doing the same. The fixed funding campaign had a goal of $85,000, and it's already over that with a few more weeks to go. In just a few months, it will be the one-year anniversary of Android Wear's announcement (March 18th). Since the first two official Android-powered watches were released at I/O 2014, we've seen half a dozen total watches running Android Wear, each with its own pros and cons. Usually, when an app gets a significant update with a new UI and whatnot, it does not come with a permanent reduction in price. Mizuu is a special case, apparently. This media management app has gotten a bump up to v3.0 with a UI revamp and some indexing tweaks, but it's no longer a paid app--the developer has decided to make it completely free.

Android Wear 5.0 is finally out on all devices, and that means developers are playing a little catch-up. Not only are there new system features to take advantage of, we finally have full support for custom watch faces. Many of the previously released ones have been updated for Android 5.0, but we're focusing here mostly on newly added apps and watch faces.

A lot of the new Android Wear watch faces are cool, and a surprising number of them are free.
